I'm torn. On the one hand, more Hot Hatches would be great. On the other, we really need some Japanese cars, and the absence of the Ford GT is also quite noticeable.
I don't see Evo ever adding any Japanese cars at this rate, annoyingly. :(

We probably have a higher chance of getting Japanese cars, even if it's just an LFA and a GT-R, than we do at getting new hot hatches. (Blame the kids for wanting all the fastest cars)

Yay, supercars.:guilty:

Drove all of the new lamborghinis and the Renault and the reventon drive around the corners like a master. It doesn't matter how much input you put in the car, it would stick to the road like it's on rails. But holy crap the sesto elemento is sweet. I could drive that car all day. The other ones like the Diablo is good but disappointed about the exhaust sound of the v12. The engine sound is good enough though. I have to be gentle with the Renault because of it brakes(of course).

Blame me as well then. I don't really want hot hatches unless we get a Focus RS or a Sunbeam Lotus. I don't really want Japanese cars either although I'd like an LFA

They could add the Toyota Vitz GRMN Turbo, Honda Civic and Mazda 2 MPS Concept; along with the GT-R and LF-A. More hot hatches and Japanese cars introduced at the same time. Two birds for the price of one stone. :D

Does anyone know the actual aerodynamic thinking in the Reventon, specifically the dynamic stuff happening on its sides to the rear?

The side vents usually open to provide extra cooling at speed. The rear spoiler is just your typical standard auto-retractable job.

@Jawehawk I did notice that the side vents don't always open evenly, so I got the impression of something like aerilon stabilisers on aircraft, acting as partial air-brakes and helping apply extra downforce. Notice how the left one is higher/more open?

Anybody else struggling with the Reventon 'Blowout' drift event? Well, I'm not struggling but I can't seem to get anymore than around 13,500-13,700 points. So far this is the only event I haven't been able to collect all the stars from. The car just seems to have too much grip (especially at the final corner) for me get get those extra couple hundred points!

Edit: Well... I completed the event. I knew it would happen as soon as I made this post. Damn though, that was surprisingly tough.

Just getting into this but enjoying it...

Was doing some comparisons with this game to P Cars regards testing tactile/buttkicker immersion.
Now this game has superb and proper working STEREO effects...

The detail of kerb effects on this game with the "car dash & cockpit" viewpoints is utter fantastic. One of the best for tactile immersion...

Bit of a shame the "tarmac/bonnet" cameras with their great engine sounds lose it seems the deep kerb rumble the "car dash & cockpit" internal views have.

I know the game has an option for external engine noises but wish they would add the option for "external engines" but "internal kerb effects".

You gotta love the Diablo and the Sesto Elemento. What brilliant cars. DC didn't really need to add in the other two though. A Peugeot 208 GTi and a Fiesta ST would be some good additions...

I not ashamed to admit that my mind is slowly changing about this game. I've been playing it for a few minutes at a time here & there with a DS4, & am really starting to enjoy it.

Would love to try it with a wheel. I hope Evolution Studios add Fanatec or Logitech support sometime in the not to distant future.

👍

Use motion steering. It's like an "invisible" wheel. ;) You can even correct oversteer or understeer like a normal wheel. Took me a lot of practice to get the hand of it but now my times are much faster than I was getting with the analogue or d-pad.

Actually, I'm now going to have to add the Murcielago to my rebellion. I've only taken it around Cayoosh Point, but hell that was an enjoyable rush - handles very well and feels great...sorry, so I'm going to have to disagree with you there.
