I also received that challenge from @MeanElf. I started DC to check what kind of challenge it was. When I saw what car, I ran away immediately. I just couldn't be bothered to crash a billion times before I got a good time together, especially with that P2P. LOL. I hate that Norway P2P track. It's so easy to **** up when you're going 300 km/h through those tunnels.

Yeah, for being such a straight track, the challenge respectively the track with the Wombat is quite hard (not complaining, just saying). You need to be concentrated all the time. Evo, don't you dare...

MeanElf, do you try to get all the stars? Just curios. Also thanks for always playing my challenges!
I try but don't always succeed :) I'm still going back over some of them but a few are proving surprisingly challenging, such as Crash Bandipur and a few others from the Evolution pack.

I like doing challenges, which is something that surprised me. I don't do so many of your drift ones though, as I'm still terrible at that.

Like the Wombat vid :D I shall see about reclaiming my time @Classic though I wouldn't hold your breath :)

@KokosEnergy that corner in the video got me twice before I figured I need more brake lol. I think the first sector can be done nearly flat out with a few points were you need to lift. Still don't like the wombat I feel like I'm on egg shells driving it.

Good. I've never played Driveclub. Looking forward giving it go.

Just to make you aware, it's just one location (India) and about 10-15 cars available compared to the full game. Also don't expect proper sim-like handling as it isn't designed to be a sim.

@Formula1269 however if you treat DC like a sim you'll get some interesting results.

You have to make your own racing line and set you own pace in order to be fast in that game. Guess it narrows down the competition

I also received that Wombat challenge from MeanElf. Didn't try it out yet though. I never learned how to tackle on that tunnels section. Either way, reversed or not.

Somebody said something about the dlc difficulty level, and since I'm finally catching up with the season pass (only Elements tour left) I can say my opinion.

I agree the majority of the dlc events are easy. Only a few of them got me stuck for a while before 3 starring them. The Xbow time trial from Ignition, the Bmw 135i tt from Photo Finish, the Ariel Atom tt from Torque, the Mazzanti tt from Pacestter and the drift dam dawn descent from TurboCharged. (Haven't got 3 stars for this one yet) They combined don't even make up for a dlc tour.

However, all dlc tours made me play the game for many hours (which is great) and I've been having a good time. I always give it a try first to get accquainted with the car and the track (if it's unfamiliar to me), then I go try hard mode to complete the requirements. The best tours (imho) are the Lambo ones. By far. Either by the cars and the track selection. Some cars I drove because the game made it mandatory to drive them, and I'll never touch'em again. That's for the Rimac, Ds Survolt, Ariel Atom.

Driveclub's tour mode completed(again), managed to do every event and collect every star in one attempt.

...Aside from Venom Hot Lap I, set a 1:16.2 and had to go back around to set a 1:15.54

MY STAR COUNT IS ALSO GOING UP NOW. :D

EDIT: Check out this rank glitch:

Rank '-66'.

So the free version of the game is out. Is it the same as the paid one? Or have they dummed down anything?

Google is your friend mate. All the details on the Plus version have been public for a long time.

Evo Studios has kept their promise. Not only have they fixed the game but have provided stellar updates and improvements.

I'm very happy with Driveclub now. Such a shame that it still gets some flack

It's a very good game to be sure. But I find it inexcusable that we're still waiting on private lobbies. At least their communication with the community has been steady and quite detailed.

They said something about waiting for the PS+ version as the server strength/capacity was integral to the private lobbies too, and they didn't want that biting them in the ass either (my words, not theirs.)

Since the PS Plus version of this is out and I have a PS4, expect me to join you guys very soon. Just don't expect any good driving since it'll be via pad because you jnow...no G27 support and all that....

only 15 cars and one location, but all trophies are available and you can purchase DLC.

Well abit bummed about that, but I'll still try it.

I'm at work now so not around my PS4 but I have a question maybe one of you can answer. I looked up the PS Plus edition on Playstation Store website and then clicked on the full game and it said $25. My question is the $25 for the full game a limited time offer?

The $25 price for the full game (minus paid dlc) is a new ps+ deal. The full game trial button will take you to the free ps+ version and is not really a trial.

So the $25 price should last for awhile then is what you're saying right?
You shouldn't have to pay anything. The PS+ upgrade version, as mentioned, will lead you to the free version that is indefinite, at least if you keep up your subscription. The Upgrade, if you go with that after trying the PS+ version, will not be lost if you stop paying for your subscription.

Correct - he is referring to the sale price of $25 for the full game, wondering if that sale will be around for awhile.
