One car will be free, the other will be unlocked when you hit level 66, like how the 599XX was unlocked when you hit level 50 and the LaFerrari for when you maxed the Ferrari accolade.
Yeah, I got the two other Ferraris by reaching these goals. Level 66 will be something else, though. Is there official word on a pay-to-get-it-instantly shortcut like with the LaFerrari? It cost about 3,50 Euros if I remember correctly.

Edit: Torque beat me to the question...

For those that won't reach level 66 straight away will you be able to purchase the car?- If it is a new hatchback- Ford Focus RS or Honda civic Type R I would pay to have it straight away or be spending a lot of extra time on DC at nights :D

Both cars are super though. Or DC might just pull a VW Golf W12 just for the sake of it.

Now one puzzle is solved, another is incoming. What will it be?

@Maxrevv I just read that :dunce:..Sorry didn't realise they were both super. I do think the new McLaren must be the other one- or something really really special..We will find out tomorrow:D

💡(wishes more hatchbacks and performance though still for the dlc pack)

We know what 1 of the 2 free cars is but we seem to be forgetting that there is a surprise apart from the cars. What do you think it could be? A new location? A livery editor? A course creator?! The Bertone VGT?! Sorry, couldn't resist.

Seriously, any ideas?

I have no idea, but I think you're right, the surprise must be of that kind of magnitude. Definitely woiuld like a new location.

DRIVECLUB Official Twitter is following some Japanese manufacturer now.
Nissan, Honda, Mitsubishi and Lexus.
It might hint for next new car.

But why they follow Porsche...?

They didn't follow Koenigsegg even.

The Veyron 16.4 would surely be Hyper class too.

Yeah with a 1001hp W12. it will easily leave the Supers in the dust. But now that I think of it, DC might put the Veyron SS instead, since its the fastest version of the fastest car on earth.

edit : Forgot it's a W16. Thanks Mike.

W16. But I agree it would def fall in the hyper class. It might be a bit big and understeery for some of the tighter roads though, so it might not be so great on just it's power alone.

I would love more Hot hatches and sports cars, but I know those don't attract the same amount of attention and buzz as hyper ultra mega cars. :)))

Maybe the surprise is private lobbies? *pours more fuel onto hype fire*

I'm not saying it is big, bit it doesn't qualify as a surprise. We knew it was coming sooner or later for a few months now. This would be underwhelming for me...my hopes are for a new country.

So when are the two cars being released? On the last Tuesday of the month along with the new car and event packs?
All the additional stuff promised at launch (car packs, livery packs, event packs, new tracks) has been released and so far there is no word on a second season of new content. So we will probably not get new packs as before, but rather indivdual cars, events and maybe a livery or two.

As for the release date, they will probably stick with a patch mid-month and a DLC-release one or two weeks later, depending on what the last Tuesday of the month is.

...BTW They said something about new tracks (not locations) when responding to someone on Twitter.
"You can expect to see new tracks in the future too!"
Makes sense as the easier option - they have the areas mapped out and each circuit certainly has blocked off roads leading onto it, so in effect just needs texturing along alternative routes to add a new version (far quicker than building five complete new maps and tracks.)

Good news though.

I'm actually so happy it's that. Fell in love with it at Goodwood. Hope it sounds just as good, if not better than the Alpine!
