I am curious about whether the TH8A support is only when plugged into a T300 or also via USB.

Currently I have my T500 with TH8A for console use, so I'd want the TH8A to be supported as separate USB device. We shall see!

The sprint events are a lot of fun, gives you the chance to try any car of the same class against the others and so see which is best for various sections. I know you could do this in theory via normal TT but this is way easier.

Murcielago SV's active air intake is now working. Other wrong details still remain.

Someone wanting to use the picture I took of the Renault, wish I'd put on light precipitation. It makes pictures ten times better

Am I missing something here? I'm trying out sprints now and while I can indeed see the very short sections being good for comparative purposes, it's 25-60 seconds of driving followed by 15-20+ seconds (edit: I timed it. Make that 25+ seconds if you don't do any additional track and car browsing) in menus selecting the next event and car.

Though even with the constant downtime between events I do imagine this will make for more compelling time trials than the full length point-to-point tracks (I think most of us are sticking to circuits the majority of the time for time trials these days, aren't we?)

Edit: I had overlooked that you can of course do a quick restart if you want to keep improving times with the same car. For some reason I had always mistakenly thought that you would lose all points and times if you restarted a session at any point, even after crossing the finish line.

Can anyone tell me how good is Driveclub regarding the new clutch and h-shifer options? I am thinking of buying a set of pedals with clutch and the shifter.

Evolution Studios baffle me sometimes. There are at least TWO new remixes of 'Be Here Now' to add to the existing 1,665,342 versions in the game.

I do hope that new cars will also be part of the content. Makes me a bit worried since nothing is mentioned about it post-488 GTB......The fact that it appears it will be free from now on (not a bad thing of course!) leads me to believe that car modelling would be expensive and time consuming hence the paid DLC until now and why new cars may no longer be an option. I mean, 108 cars is not to be sniffed at for a simcade like this but it's so good you wish they would continue with it.

Don't stress yourself Ryan, it's all an unknown quantity right now. We do know that more cars are inbound. One next month is known to be free but the rest, well no one has said either way, except that there will be other free cars throughout.

My guess therefore is that tracks and packs will come and will need to be bought - if that becomes a second season pass, I haven't the faintest idea. All I do know is that they have delivered what they promised, plus a whole bundle on top, so I trust them to continue making the right calls on their game.

Do we know which car is coming next month?

I'd be lying if I tried to give you any tips mate, its pot luck if that thing stays on the road, really! You'll get there though, you're disgustingly fast after all.
@Brend I'm not sure how you're doing this Gumpert elite level challenge! These roads are 1 mile too thin for this car... You even pulled off a huge slide in front of me as if you're taunting!

I tried the rimac and vhul05 and there is not that much of a difference with the rimac but there is a good amount of difference with the vhul05. The little car feels more like a go kart. Sprint mode is a good feature to have if you are running out of time and you want to test out a car.

Just tried it out and only worked when plugged into the T300 , was dead with USB...

Kind of annoying that you are forced to have automatic clutch on so although the clutch does respond when pressed it is not needed to change gear with the H plate shifter. hopefully they add options for the clutch otherwise a wasted opportunity tbh..:boggled:

Wha? No worries man, I'm just happy to finally get in a club and see how it was like. Thanks for everything bud, it was totally worth it. Cheers

Really!? Hey that be awesome. Just lend me the name of your club and I'll join in. As a special thanks, I'll add you to my friends list if you don't mind. :D:tup:

Yep, I already liked the Vuhl 05 before, but it definitely feels more grippy now. Still not as quick as the BAC Mono though. And I also need to do some retesting of the Caterham SP/300R, which I think might actually be a bit faster than both on some tracks?

I've actually been surprised before in my tests by how close quite a lot of cars in the super group are (and including some of the hyper cars as well).

I gotta try the Rimac as well after the update. I actually kind of enjoyed it before - mad acceleration and practically impossible to spin, but it had a rather wide turning circle.
