[QUOTE: 11236307, member: 228970"]Dam Busters is practically impossible to complete. For whatever reason, the lead MP4-12C has no trouble whatsoever with the rain. I can't complete the average speed challenges because most of them lead straight into a wall, and the ground is way too slippery. I had the idea to try this on hardcore mode because it slows the other AIs down, but never for the lead one. I hate that you get slowed down for five seconds for only tapping a wall with the rear of your car. That needs to be tweaked. Also, the cornering challenges are placed at the most inconvenient locations, because almost every time I need to complete it, I have an opportunity to overtake the lead. This race is extremely frustrating.

EDIT: I just completed it. Didn't check to see how far ahead I was, but it was probably by 2.5 or 3 seconds. God, my heart was racing.[/QUOTE]

I couldn't tell you how much i was screaming like an 7 year old trying not to screw it up when i was leading by 1 sec on the last lap, it seriously felt like the end of a endurance race trying not to ruin your race after 6-12 hours

I don't mean to be rude, but most of my worst experiences in this game have been on Indian tracks. Dam Busters, Venom Hot Lap, and German Sports Car Series Part 1 (How the hell did I get better results in a Benz A45 compared to an Audi RS5?!). Yes, two of them were in the rain, but the difficulty seemed to be much higher in all of these events compared to the others in the game.

Cue the Regera appearing front and centre in the next GT Sport trailer...

Well... what Sony racing game prides itself on its sound design most?

Car certainly belongs more in DC than GTS, surprised EVO is still modeling cars though.

Also funny how a game changes your views on a car, I hate the look of Mclaren cars before now I can't stop shooting them.

Interesting, looks like Evo(I assume it is) is using a Dynapack to place the car under load when recording audio.

Isn't this the same thing GT started doing sometime back right before DC came out?

If that's the case then I think Evo and PD are sharing ideas for all we know.

If the regera makes it in DC, I would test it against the one:1 to see which car is the fastest in the game since the One:1 is still the speed king in this game.

There is such much overload in games with all those exotics that it simply doesn't excite me one bit anymore.

I would like that DC adds a few around the 180 and 300 BHP or some classics. Stuff we don't see all the time.

This would be much more exciting in old town than that hyper stuff ;)

You already know which manufacturer I'm gonna mention :D. One in WR Blue Mica with a noisey exhaust

What was EVO thinking with the Unite In Speed Trophy? This stupidity of this event is mind-blowing.

Basically it's like this:
Me: Hey, Driveclub, can I get a reasonable challenge with a fair group of cars?
Driveclub: I gotchu fam.
*Proceeds to put you in an F430 against a field of statistically superior Ferraris and a lead AI car that can't be passed in the first race, and is impossible to defend against in the second*

You're welcome. :sly:

I told you that trophy is complete BS. I may have won the trophy with a full score and all Stars, but still, it's stupid.

I don't recall you telling me about it.

Anyway, I'm having two other problems with the game. A lot of times, my car won't downshift from second to first. My controller isn't old; I got it for Christmas. I can't tell if the game is preventing me from accidentally shifting too far, but this is getting annoying. The second issue is a sound bug. I think I've narrowed it down to the Ferrari FXX, but whenever I'm near high-powered Ferraris, I hear loud popping noises. It's definitely not exhaust backfiring. Imagine someone took their Playstation microphone and smacked it as hard as they could onto a solid surface. That's what I'm hearing in singleplayer. I barely join chat parties, so I think it's definitely something wrong with one of the Ferraris.

Well. After two races I'm never joining another public racing lobby ever again. Assholes in Bentleys that take up the entire track then ram you off the road when you're next to them, and douchebags that brakecheck you on the final straight. Good to see how toxic the community is in just two races.

...Not all of us want to enter the Apple Cult
But that's what Apple want ;)

It'll probably be available from elsewhere later on, probably just a timed exclusive thing...I swear that Apple are as bad as MS on that front.

@Dan when the game launched, the gears would do that and Evolution patched it so that less of a time-gap was needed before you could shift down again. I'd noticed that it has crept back up, so maybe drop them a line if it bothers you - it's probably just the result of a software interaction with newer code reversing code protocols to older versions.

How would I go about doing that?

Twitter is one option, but FaceBook is also good. On Twitter they tend to respond more but even on FB the situation is noted and gets logged.

I'm worried that my message will just get buried completely by everyone else.

Trust me, they pick up on it all. I was really surprised when we got motorbikes added as a result of a few diehards posting the request up occasionally. Other things too have been changed as a result. The game basis is: 'to change according to player wishes'.

I just tried hardcore mode with a wheel and with the wheel settings someone posted before. Sweet baby jesus this game is awesome.
It's still pretty damn fine with a DS4 - but I do hope one day to try it with a wheel.

The right car and the right track can make all the difference. ;) The Caterham SP/300.R is a dream to drive on just about every track, but it feels so right on Sinclair Pass.

On an unrelated note, the SP/300.R was the first car I got to level 15. :D

Hmm. I'll try it later and see what happens. I'll need to un-private my account, though.
