After a ton of grinding, finally back at Level 95 and Elite 35 until the next update. :)

I'm level 95 too @Brend but only 25 elite...I don't have enough stars for the next one, even though I've maxed out every tour and DLC..Lake Shoji in the Renault was the last one I could do..1080/1085 for the next green tick but I'm confused as to where I go from here

Really? That is incredibly odd...dont quote me on this but perhaps you NEED to have all the Bikes DLC stars to continue?

That's what I was thinking too..and if that's the case then that's where my elite levels end because as long as my arse points south, I'm never buying the bike pack..it's a shame because I love this game, in my opinion it's the greatest driving game on the planet, but it's a driving game, not a riding game...so 🤬 Evo if they're making me buy something that I don't want in order to advance...

The integration of DLC into the elite levels is pretty disappointing if this IS the case which it sounds like it is, based on my elite level conditions too it seems this way.

Poor show, truth be told. :(

Poor show is the polite way of saying it..I'm all for Evo making money, jeez, they deserve it for making such a fantastic driving game that I play religiously, but couldn't they just have the bikes with their own elite levels ?

There should be 18 more stars available once the No Limits pack comes out.
 
I have tried to compare the FXX K and the ONE:1 at oliver's landing on hardcore mode because on normal mode, They are the two fastest cars around that track. Unsurprisingly, The Koenigsegg ONE:1 beats the ferrari. I think it is the extreme speed that makes it save enough time.
 
I've driven the R34 and Civic Type R and both of them are great additions IMO. It's great that Evolution Studios are still delivering new content and offering new challenges.

Since DRIVECLUB is continuing as a service EVO has no choice other than including DLC for the upgrade of your levels. It is very well possible that there will be another kind of "big pack" in the future which then also will be needed to reach certain levels.

Instead of making you buy a new game you will have to buy some DLC. It's the logic consequence for this game.

I buy DLC and will continue to do so, my gripe is with the bikes
 
Tried to do some public time trails in multiplayer, so far every race has ended with me kicked out of the race, communicating with the server it says.

Is multiplayer that broken, or is it my PS4? I have stable 30Mb line, so its kinda wierd.

I had the same problems last month, Rushy told me to check the latest PS4 hardware update I can't remember the number but it needs to be up to date as for some reason I missed the latest update and it didn't install automatically for some reason. If you are all up to date worth popping on twitter and asking the question to rushy33. 👍

They'd have to alter the time based objectives in the hardcore version for the platinum stars, as the normal time based challenges in the tours are geared for normal mode, and a lot would be impossible with hardcore mode on. Other than that, I think that's a great idea.



Just enjoy the tours, you'll get to drive a great variety of cars on some really cool tracks, in all kinds of weather and situations, and before you know it, you'll have a lot of cars unlocked.

Also, join a club. Some cars (not many) unlock at club levels rather than player levels. I got to level 50 before I made my club though, so it's not mandatory to enjoy the game. The various tours will keep you more than entertained for a while.

I created my own club last night however i realized that was a waste of time due to the fact you need at least one other member LOL.

Anyone have an open club that they don't mind me joining?
 
I have nearly reached all the goals I have set myself for Driveclub:
-Max Level [x]
-Max Elite Level [x]
-Level 50 Club(I'm the only person in my club who still plays)
-100% Trophies including the bikes platinum [x]

Just need to wait for the upcoming DLC to earn more trophies and Rep to push my club to the prior limit. I don't think realistically it will max out since they changed the cap in the update, so Level 50 will do.
 
Dam Busters is practically impossible to complete. For whatever reason, the lead MP4-12C has no trouble whatsoever with the rain. I can't complete the average speed challenges because most of them lead straight into a wall, and the ground is way too slippery. I had the idea to try this on hardcore mode because it slows the other AIs down, but never for the lead one. I hate that you get slowed down for five seconds for only tapping a wall with the rear of your car. That needs to be tweaked. Also, the cornering challenges are placed at the most inconvenient locations, because almost every time I need to complete it, I have an opportunity to overtake the lead. This race is extremely frustrating.

EDIT: I just completed it. Didn't check to see how far ahead I was, but it was probably by 2.5 or 3 seconds. God, my heart was racing.

Well done I must get round to the original tour, remember that was a hard 8 lap race. Remember you can always go for the win, then go for the other stars on another go, i.e blue lines when you are in no rush and drive slowly over them as when the pressure is on it isn't easy to get all 3 stars in one sitting unless you are one of these 'alien drivers' on here:boggled::cheers:

Oh, I am FAR from being an "alien" like TRL Lightning (I mean this in a good way. Your hotlaps are mindblowing). I still need to beat the Venom Hot Lap. My best time is just under the gold and I haven't been able to keep up with my ghost. :banghead:

Also, I had no idea you could complete the challenges in separate runs. I thought they needed to be completed all at once.
