This game just keeps getting better and better.

On a technical standpoint yes, but this just seems to be PlayStation's Ryse; looks great, but get used to doing the same thing over and over.

What is this games' lasting USP? I just don't see anything new in what it's doing or how a few asynchronous challenges or online club racing is enough of a draw when it doesn't appear to offer anything else?

It's pick up and play, remember the hate GTPSP got? I loved how easy it is to pick up and play, clubs are interesting love how you can unlock stuff without playing. If the gameplay is fun and the tracks are diverse enough (jury out on both yet) it should last you for a bit. I see your point though.

I'd definitely pick it up because what's there is looking incredible. If there's no photo mode then I'd find it hard to keep going back. I've not touched Rivals since the day I got it because without photomode I couldn't really care enough to get into it.

comparing a racing game to a third person linear action game, I just don't get it. What more do you want from a racing game besides to race? Photomode will be in the game, if not at launch then it'll be added in an update, along with the weather. If the game is remotely as fun as PGR I'll definitely be playing this for years to come.

"Evolution says that the weather system will be added to the game sometime in 2014, along with a photo mode – after all, what good is beautiful weather if you can't share pictures of it with your friends?"

It looks breathtaking, having been upset all year for them not releasing the game I can hardly be mad at them for putting so much work into it.

Been in places similar to that environment in India and they got everything right, the atmosphere, the colour palette, the particle effects, everything.

Is also nice to see point to point races being extensive and varied, I might get this depending on the driving model, but is still one of the best looking racing games I have ever seen.

I love this game because of how realistic it looks, but I have to agree with you on that. There's only so much with point to point racing and friend challenges. I hope it catches on with people though, because such a beautiful looking game failing would be a shame.

My feelings excatly. Sure DC looks beautiful, but if it doesn't offer enough features I see no point in getting it.

The addition of a photo mode at some stage will give me incentive to get it at some point then. I'd assume it has a time trial mode, so I wouldn't have to race and shoot.

NOTICE: ferrari 599xx and Lamborghini Aventador are looking suspicious. Be warned that these two may not be in the game!!!

Evolution make great racing games. I have Motorstorn: Pacific Rift and apocalypse. Excellent games. PR though was much better IMO. From the videos this one looks fantastic not only in looks but handling too. Not like Pcars which is so twitchy. The only disappointing thing I can see so far from andrea video posted above was in the Indian track video the replays are not good like GT, Pcars :( Otherwise this looks like must have racing game

That's the thing, MotorStorm had a USP.

DriveClub really doesn't.

I'm far less excited by this then I was originally...
