So essentially 5 tracks, with reverse, P2P, RC and RT variations.

Nope. 5 tracks per location, 5 locations at launch = 25 unique tracks.

"Location" in DriveClub means a country, not a track and its course variation like in GT (e.g. La Sarthe in GT5 it's a location with 4 course variation, but it's essentially the same track).

So it is 25 unique tracks overall with an extra 30 variations over 3 different layouts, which is the number they have been saying since last year. Pretty good number I suppose. More than Forza 5, and that wasnt a new IP.

There's more to a game then a number. One of my all-time favorite games ever is the original Sega Rally. It had two cars and three tracks, but that was all the game needed to be perfect because the driving experience was so vastly superior to anything that was out there at the time (hell, I'd argue it bests most modern day racers). I understand that was twenty years ago and priorities change, as they should...but I just shake my head when people go on and on about how they value gameplay and physics over everything else, then complain when a game doesn't have 500 cars. This game isn't Gran Turismo or Forza, and Evolution never intended it to be. Thank god they didn't, because last generation was terrible one for arcade racers and I could definitely use a good new one.

It's not that i am so concerned with the numbers. But hey, lets be real, if you are a Forza fan or Gran Turismo we love to have those extra cars there because we all want to just try different things sometimes. Like if i wanted to have a battle of Honda's with my friends I can be sure that i can choose that Honda. If i want to have an american muscle battle with friends i can have it. Instead now with Driveclub we are very limited with the car selections. But i get you're point. It is not GT or Forza after all.

Us fans that have been looking forward to DriveClub. Us fans that are tired of the non-stop trolling regarding the game. We, the fans. Not sure where you fall into that. We have all been posting here long enough to see what's going on.
I think you've made it clear enough where you stand...

Well my enthusiasm for DriveClub just went down the toilet after hearing about Logitech wheel support. :grumpy: This Logitech compatibility issue for PS4 is getting ridiculous now.

If that special edition really retails for about £65...I'm just not even sure what's going on anymore.

Even £60 would be too much.

Awesome pic. We can see clearly the 599 GTO, the old California, a bit of the P1 (you can tell by the spoiler that it isnt the 650S) behind the RUF and the Audi RS6 behind it, which is a new car. Cant wait for more reveals on Gamescon.

Early access to a P1? Oh, that just makes me feel like they don't give two 🤬 about proper career progression and unlocks. Because you'd think that, with a car as mighty as the Big Mac itself, it would take a long time to unlock, right?

Along with a 458, V12 Vantage S and C63 Coupe Black, I'm giving this edition a miss. They just keep making steps backwards with this game.

The hype seems non-existent in all honesty. Don't see this doing very well at all.

It's a bit obvious, but it goes Hot Hatch < Sports < Performance < Super < Hyper.

You can identified most of these cars in the 40min livestream and in the other stream (the 37s long) from the same channel.

There's still a few weird ones here and there: The blue BMW in the end of the PERFORMANCE category (here at 0:11), it looks like a 1 series, but it could be the M5 which I didnt saw in any other category. There's also a red Bentley Continental on the SPORTS category (the blue on PERFORMANCE is the GT Speed) - the red might be the V8.

I didnt spot it anywhere the Caterham SP/300.R (or any other kinda of race-y car), I think the red car is probably the 12C (anytime he transitions from SUPER to HYPER, very hard to pause correctly, but between the white GTA Spano and the silver F12) and.. that's it for now. 49 cars (+1 from launch DLC). No Lamborghini, no Jaguar, no JP cars (Rushy confirmed this) so no GT-R or LFA (or IS-F or RC F, or WRXs or Evos), no Enzo/LaFerrari and etc. But this list doesnt appear to be 100% final, so there's still hope.

From watching just Youtube videos, I have to admit DC is the best looking racing game out there (includes CARS yes).

Gotta be honest been looking forward to this game but the arcade side of who can get round the corner the fastest kind of put me off a little and now that Project cars comes out a month later I think it will only be the PS+ edition for me unless it amazes me.
