I've spent a while playing it this weekend and I like it, so far it's great, visuals are fantastic and the AI is really challenging in some areas.

But I did download this from PSN but as I'm playing through the game it's still downloading the single player events! Is this normal? Never experienced this before.

The game file is pretty big with a 17Gb install file...but it was done with installing relatively quickly as far as I remember it only needed 3.5Gb before you could start playing (1 minute or so.) There have been three patches also, but I shouldn't think they'd be much of an issue. How long in all has it been downloading for?
 
The free DLC environment got leaked. It's Japan. :cheers:

The game has reserved 17GB of space on my HDD but I don't think it's at that amount yet.

It's been downloading everytime I've had the PS4 on, I started downloading it last Thursday.

That's really weird, sounds like something may be corrupted then, but that's just a guess.

So this game has been delayed for ps plus, I'm surprised the game is a complete mess when they had a years extra development.

I don't think it's corrupted as some events that were unavailable as they were downloading, later on as I've played, they've become available to play.

I think it's a case of me playing it whilst not all of it has been downloaded.

Oh, so do I :)

I really enjoy driving in DC which has surprised me, and I know that more people would if the whole situation got corrected. Looks like good news regarding Japan as a new location - can't wait.
 
I'm waiting for the DLC packs to decide on individual packs or the season pass. I like their outlined plan, but this months updates I'm looking forward to.

Does anyone know if the DLC comes with trophies?
 
I m still pissed that there was no free new track in October, despite their fancy DLC plan diagram promising it. They will have to have to a) deliver on that finally and b) have a ridiculous amount of awesome stuff in their paid DLC, otherwise they can go sod off with their season pass. :grumpy:

You're surprised they didn't release anything amidst all of the server problems and every gameblog berating them for server problems.

Looks like there's new tracks for Chile and Norway as well. (I know each one has 2 there but obviously 1 of them will be the Reversed version of the track.)

I like the way he said "whoops...you didn't see that" as he skipped past the Norway track. Well spotted on the Chile one too, I hadn't noticed that.

I really, really want that photomode...
 
Played earlier this morning until the servers went down. I didn't pay too much heed as I have a few other things to do anyway.

Got back onto DC ten minutes ago, and the Challenges section no longer shows as loading - okay, it's still greyed-out but it says '0' instead of the loading animation. Are we getting challenges at last, or have others seen this previously and I'm getting excited for nothing?

EDIT: Actually, it's gone back to the loading graphic in the little blue box today - so maybe I was just getting excited for nothing.

Sad to say no news with this post. I did want to say that it was a bit of a shock after completing the Canadian Rally TT with a time of 2:26.xxx to see that the top 1,375 times were all 0:02.000 exactly...

I know that probably isn't a priority right now, but gurddamnnit!
