Sorry wrong person, maybe we all use the dame tune strictly?
see, if we could successfully make that happen, we would go forward with it, but as we've discussed among ourselves, we've come with two reasons as to not attempting it:

1. We don't wish to alienate people away from our events
2. We cannot successfully mandate that each and every driver shares the same tune, especially during quick driver changes during the race, in which a driver may change to a more preferred setup instead of what we have ordered.

Now, I am not saying that people wouldn't follow rules, but there's always the possibility. So, as to go about this, @StigsTC has supplied a good tune for people who are not adept at tuning their vehicles, but it is not a required thing to use 👍

Maybe make a poll and we'll see what everyone thinks? Idk

I like the sense of having no tuning but to me it only works with sprint races of around 20-30 minutes whereas over 6 hours the biggest factor in performances is fatigue and concentration.

Technically speaking, ChrisW's suggestion was actually about a fixed tune used by all...

We are not mandating tunes, simply because enforcing the rules is impossible.
A rule is only as good as its ability to be enforced, so we will NOT be providing a tune that everyone must use.
The only way to make the rule enforceable is with in lobby settings of "Tuning prohibited" - however that leaves us with GT6's stock tunes and those are terrible. We will not be mandating this either.

The event has free settings configurations, the only limits are Power, Weight, PP, Tyres and driver aids as stated in the original posts.

Sorry to cause such a ruckus, I only wanted to make a small suggestion... :boggled:

(And the answer is no.)
you're good man! I enjoy seeing conversations and ideas pop up from the competitors. It shows that there's an interest in the series as well as us all working together to see what will or won't work.

If I may suggest, I see that the event coming up after this one is a 12 hour Nurburgring event in TCN cars, would it possibly be a good idea to swap to the old GT Cup class? The Renault is already in both classes, the GT86 is notoriously difficult to deal with, and the BMW is non-premo so only 1 team can use it in order to be distinguishable. I know a couple teams managed to get the Toyota working well but they'd have to take it again in order to keep field variety up.

Have no fear. We are not simply copy-pasting car lineups from the SCS, a few of those classes had serious issues that we already identified and would prefer not to make the same mistakes. Instead we will make new mistakes and deal with those instead - which includes a totally different TCN field.

To any and all teams! If you have not already been invited into the DRR Club, please message me with your PSN ID so I can invite you!

God damn it guys... the first win was hard enough, now you throw Ventador and Hyperion in the mix too!?!?

Love it! Bring it on!
We decided we couldn't let you win every race by nearly a lap so we had to improve the competition, and because self improvement is too much hard work we figured it'd be easier to just to sign up really fast people instead.
Seriously thought I'm quite excited by how the grid is shaping up, can't wait for the racing to start!

So we have once again been unable to find a streamer, and we are STILL looking to find a Streamer for the Bathurst 6 hours on October 8th, if you are anyone you know has the ability to stream, please let us know via PM so we can broadcast this race with actual commentary.

Have asked my old CORE friends but most of them have sold their PS3 or they are watching the real Bathurst race

The real Bathurst race starts 4 hours after ours ends, but I guess with time zones it'll see people up very early or very late so I can understand that.
Thanks very much for reaching out on our behalf, we are trying everything we can to get streaming and commentary for these races, we want it as much as you guys do.

Also we have finally finished a Sporting Regulations Document, which is now uploaded in the first post. It will be very familiar but there are some key changes so its worth reading through again before the race.
Now we have a proper rule-book to refer to, we'll be enforcing them more aggressively than we did in Motegi.

QP 1 is 10 PM my time tonight, I'll be there, just gotta get everything sorted in terms of getting the car ready so I can get the info to my teammates.

Question about the time of the race, will we be using "real" time for this race, i.e. running the race from 1 am to 7 am local time?
