Just curious, is GT6 acting problematic on Fixed Host as well? I understand that the way GT6's infrastructure works on peer-to-peer connections, some people simply won't be able to connect (or see each other on track in other words), but if I remember correctly, a lot of that silliness was averted in the GTPES because it was run in fixed host for the most part.

To everyone who raced today... massive MASSIVE well done and fantastic job to @Whitetail, @Peelster1, @Sinyster, and @StigsTC for the stewarding and patience when the game was deciding to throw a wobbler towards the middle of the race.

Awesome! Big big shout to @Antares26 for being able to join me today. Shame he didn't manage to get more of a run out but for the work he put in during the race and helping me out with the strats outside of it... I thank him dearly! I am very happy with what we achieved today despite the setbacks early on. We at Clockwork Motorsport can hold our heads high after today!

I don't know who to choose for "Team of the Race", MWM did a fantastic job pulling back a huge gap to the front to finish on the same lap. Same to DRR and CWM, they all did an incredible job. Well, I suppose that statement can go out to everyone really! Congrats again to DRR, insane pace from all of their drivers!

I have to agree with @J_Starscream on this one. Every single team had their ups and downs, and for so many teams to finish on the same lap despite many trials and tribulations, I can't name a single team that outshone the other.

Yes whoever is crowned the winner after all the finalisation is the de facto "team of the race" but all the teams need to know they done amazing, just unfortunate that Mount Panorama makes light work of humbling even the best of us.

I'm pleased that after serving 4 penalties we were only 2 laps down at the end.

Everyone went so slow for me at the start, went right to the inside along pit wall, after turn 1, was right up in 3rd overall and back in class lead.

Finally I got to experience an endurance race at Bathurst, and it was more fun than I could've imagined! I seriously have a newfound love for the track and especially the car!

I just want to say, mega props to the organizers @Sinyster @StigsTC @Peelster1 @Whitetail for handling the setbacks really well. That was real professional of you guys, lesser organizers would've probably quit right then and there, but you really pulled through to get the ball rolling again. Top job!

Also big thanks to @Storm_SP17, ever the numbers guy, for making the experience off-track just as fun as the experience on it. Really couldn't have asked for more this weekend, mate.

6.1.20 Until the Green Flag is displayed, the first Driver in line behind the Safety Car must maintain the Safety Car speed as defined by the Supplementary Regulations.
6.1.21 Once the Green Flag has been displayed, the first Driver in line behind the Safety Car may dictate the pace at any speed above the Safety Car speed as defined by the Supplementary Regulations.
6.1.22 The first Driver in line behind the Safety Car may not accelerate away to resume the Race until the Green Flag has been displayed. They may choose to do so any time between the Green Flag being displayed and the Start/Finish line.
6.1.23 All Drivers will keep their position until they have crossed the Start/Finish line, after the Safety Car has entered the Pits. Drivers may only overtake another Car that is unduly delaying the field.

I'm going to hazard a guess at a jump start. But we'll have to check the tape to make sure you didn't pass until after the start line and are all good.

Remember guys results are provisional until the stint photo analysis is done.

Stigs, i never be in this kind of race start....

Look like a 3 laps races, everyone wanna be first before the end of the first corner, i took someone out and i'm really gentle and smooth on my start, because someone ram me twice before first corner.
A lot of rookie driver today or people are rusty a little bit?

I personally didn't see it, I was conducting a driver change at the time. I heard it was crazy but I never saw it.

However - IF ANY TEAM has any issues or queries with the race, an incident or anything of the sort, please message us in the Team threads.
This way we can address your issue in greater detail, by either looking into the incident, explaining what happened and what action occurred, or why no action was taken.

I'm gonna say that it was a little rust being kicked off, methinks. There were some rookies, though most that started today didn't run the event at Motegi, and if they had they didn't run the start, so start of the race was kinda awkward. Not sure people remember that there's no overtaking before the line and I recall the slightest jump start from someone to my left, but nobody actually gained anything before T1 as a result.

I went right at the green flag, I will not lie. Nor did I pass any one. It was a well timed start that I got able to pish along pit wall and get up past the competition.

Well, I would like to say thank you to every team and driver who participated in this month's endurance event!

This week will be spent by the stewards to finish all of the things needed to provide the final results, so keep tuned for that!

But without further ado, I would like to announce the next race for November!

The VLN 12 Hour Event, with TCN Cars.

We currently have a list of vehicles chosen, with BoP already almost finalized between them all, so keep an eye out on your Team Threads for which vehicle you will be handed out by the end of the week!

Cars in this next race are as follows

Spoon S2000 Race Car '00
Honda S2000 LM Race Car
Nissan Silvia Spec-R AERO (S15) Touring Car '02
Toyota Altezza Touring Car

Oh the car list isn't half bad at all! I'm actually considering if I should actually enter with a team now based on these TCN cars. :)

For reasons of clarity can all Team Managers send us a message of intent in their threads, if they are intending to race in the next event, or if they have decided not to/cannot attend.
Just helps us lock down who will be racing much sooner than waiting for the results to come out and the new event information to be posted.
Cheers all.

It is official everyone, with the final touches going into it this week, we're proud to 100% announce the next event of our series, the 12H VLN :D

Although, with this update, we're not racing the Type V circuit, but the N24 layout, so do keep that in mind! More details soon!!

Oooooh I've just seen the date this is being held. I could have booked that weekend to go to Dunsfold (home of the Top Gear Test Track, iirc...) to drive 4 supercars on that day. Instead I booked the 19th November, at another location.

@Antares26 and myself seem keen to attend this. But who else? We shall see...
