Looking ahead, I've noticed the headline class for the Daytona 24 is now LMP3, I'm not sure what exactly will fit in that, but I've had a bit of an idea. Why not have the top class designated as DPi and balance all closed cockpit prototypes to that class? That in a way is kind of what the new DPi rules are doing is allowing the new plain-jane P2's and manufacturer modified ones, it's a bit of an everything under the sun class.

glad someone noticed this little change. Haha, the change is going to be heavily detuned Peugeot 908 HDi FAP Base Models, instead of AJ's take on the class with the Mazda LM55.

Ok doke ladies and gentleman, results have been compiled and we're just getting them checked over before Sinyster will have them uploaded and available to you all.
Thank you again for joining us in Endurance Racing, overall I think this event didn't go as well as Motegi, far too much steward involvement as well as lengthy SC and Red Flag periods. The Reds we could do nothing about because GT was being GT, but the VSC/SCD phase needs reworking and we'll have a few rule tweaks between now and the next event to try and sort some of those issues, close a few loopholes and clarify a few other things.
Just a reminder for teams and drivers to have a read of the regulations when we update it, we'll have a change log posted for ease of seeing what's new.
I hope we'll see you again in the next event.

For those wondering, 48 Warnings and 37 Penalties were handed out across the event. Let us hope this is one record we never break.

I'm interested - what kind of loopholes were people pulling off?

It is official everyone, with the final touches going into it this week, we're proud to 100% announce the next event of our series, the 12H VLN :D

Although, with this update, we're not racing the Type V circuit, but the N24 layout, so do keep that in mind! More details soon!!

That is a really sweet flyer for the next event.

Thanks so much to everyone from race control and everyone helping to put on the DRRTES. It is a really massive effort to keep things going the way they are and I have so much gratitude. I've got to get my connection right for the next race but I hope that I'll see you all out there come November (and hopefully provide more fierce competition next time. All of you guys were absolutely on fire out there at Bathurst, especially compared to me). This is the kind of competition that gets my blood pumping.

Also, stay well read on those rules! I'm not one to talk anymore, but I know that @Peelster1, @Whitetail, @StigsTC, & @Sinyster work hard to keep the rulebook in check so we can have fair racing. The race was an absolute blast though and I thank you guys for making it a lot of fun.

If there's anyone who wants to run the next race. Who doesn't have a team. Please PM me. Swift Autosport would really like to participate in the next event.

Mostly its things we noticed could be used as loopholes but haven't become relevant yet, or wordings of rules that don't do what we intended.
But during the race for example, some smartass noticed that on Race start pit lane is open, so they did a Driver Swap 6 seconds into the race.
However on race RE-Start, the pit lane is closed, so you must complete 1 lap under green to do a swap. We are now unifying the procedures to stop Driver Swaps until at least 1 lap has been completed.

I have no clue who the smartass was tbh

At least it tells you that they read the rules lol
