^ confusing....

So how did it go tonight? Who will fill in that free place in the TT-R team? And will there be a car #16 this season?
(and is there anyone else who will do just 1:32's, 1:33's tomorrow? :nervous:)

Symp I don't think any of the reserves showed up so I would just give the place to tony kart. As he has been the only one of the reserve's thats actually posting on the forum and seems interested it's upto JT but.

Tbh not looking forward to this race at all my car feels crap 1'30.5 I think was my best time but had to reduce DF to get that and the back end was all over the place. I some how need to find an extra second which hopefully will be possible before 2moro but I doubt it lol.

Symp I don't know how your running 1'32's and 1'33's, I done a 1'34 on hards in my lounge just now.

Ouch... well... Monaco just doesn't suit me, "it's between the ears". Too many (slow) corners and too many walls...
I still have to find a good setup though and I hope to find some time to get it right tomorrow. Any tips? Stiff suspension or not? High camber or...?

Im getting 1.32s consistantly now and not improving any. Tried multiple setups, multiple DF vs weight vs power calculations, hit every apex perfect, and im still 0.500 down on the time set by a-brick and goruk earlier....on the 1st sector...!! Loads of overstear until caroselle then it completely disapears and i end up tip-toeing round at 30mph. Love this track and getting it right but when you see you are 3 seconds down after the 'perfect' lap then it really pi**es you off.

Just done a 130'4 think I could get a 1'29.9 but the difference between hitting a corner perfect and touching the wall is so tight that I keep messing up. I have know idea how people are getting low 1'29, I've tried loads of setups I feel like I'm missing something.

I'm running with max DF 487BHP, medium suspension - 13.0/13.8 4,5 4,5 4,5 2.0 1.2 -0.05 0.05 stiffer rear because I have my weight at rear. But It's like a full second of the the pace so I'm not sure my tips are any good lol

There must be a secret passage somewhere!
Thnx green for the tips. Hope I can get a few secs off

Thanks green. car feels a bit more stable now but still 1.32.x. think im gonna stick with it and hope everyone else pits 8 times. got my tyre statagy sorted anyway.

found that secret passage. its just before the last chicane on the right. goes past some guys holding tyres. shaves seconds off your time. if everyone uses this passage then we will all be equal.....

no, but i can give you someone doing 1:35:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Just to confirm to everyone it is 40 laps +1 formation lap. we did 50 laps in DTM2 which took 1h 20m so should be around the 1 hour mark tonight.
Pit windows are 9-16, 25-32. Remember they open at the end of the lap.
Since tony is the only reserve driver interested then he gets the last audi tt-r space. there will be no car 16 tgis week. maybe a pace car if anyone wants it?

yeah you can do any order you like, what ever one you qualify on you start with, then change to next compound at 1st pit window then change to last compound at 2nd pit window. If you need to pit outside the pit window to fix damage you can't change your tire compound but you will get fresh tires.

Sorry for leaving guys really wasn't in the mood and my race fell apart pretty quickly due to lack of effort.

sorry to have abandoned the race, but some drivers do not have a good sporting conduct, in particular a pilot of the BMW ..

who won then?.....All I'm saying is Biffy is my hero for the move he pulled on me and goruk at the start on hard tires, I was keeping my distance cause a few people were lagging at the start and biffy went right round my outside I never even noticed him until he was in front of me and goruk lol

Yep, I was stuck behind LKW, he had damage on first corner and them just saw Danny and Biffy passing me by on the right side, well taken opportunity.
BTW I took it home :)

^lol wtf was he doing was he coming out the pits ? its hard to see on the vid
