Although it was explained to toyotsupra several times about the pit windows and how to use them, he still managed to miss the 2nd window by 1 lap. This is a clear example of rule 6.7.1 and therefore a time penalty of 30 second will be given.

Looking at the standings teeds needs to beat me and djdavey by 4points to win, davey needs to beat me and come within 2points of teeds ( 3points will be a tie) and I need to beat davey and come within 2points of teeds (3points will be a tie ). Don't think anyone else can win it pipi could get 3rd if he was to win and davey scored less than 2 points, should be an interesting race as teeds has 30kg less than me and davey It will be a game of cat and mouse me thinks lol.

Just to put some numbers to that.

With drop scores:

Greens Max attainable score: 66
My Max attainable score: 66
Teed's Max availble score: 62

Teeds has to win the race with me and green 3rd or below.
If one of us doesn't win the race, me or green can win with a 2nd place.

If teeds finishes second me or green only need to be forth or beter to beat teeds and then whoever is ahead of us two wins

If teeds finishes third me or green need to finish 6th or above to beat him and again who ever is ahead out of us two wins the championship.

There are lots of other permutations, but I could spend all night trying to work them out! I think that covers most of the likely outcomes!

Yeah I would try not to think about it during the race Lol, end up crashing cause you where working out permutations.

You just have to beat him supra, which means pitting during the pit window

The guy with the fastest car should win championship just like red bull have done with vettel i go for Teeds for the championship.

Teeds has the slowest car, I would say M3 has the fastest but CLK is not far off in terms of speed but would say M3 and CLK produce very similar times where as A4 is at least 0.500 slower than every car in DTM. Teeds is just a very good driver and I'm sure will be very hard to beat.

What a great end to the closest DTM championship to date.
3 drivers in contension, in 3 different teams and cars, 2 past champions, the favorite is the one without a championship. Should be epic!

Last race will be very interesting indeed! One thing that crossed my mind: The rules do not explain clearly what to do in a situation when people end up with equal points. As it looks like there's a chance of that it may be wise to discuss this in advance.

I would say:
1) total points
2) most wins
3) most 2nd
4) most 3rd
5) etc.

Anyone with other ideas?

Yes! We have to think about the tracks, dates, etc. And maybe some adjustments in the regulations? Let the discussion begin! 👍

But I think there should be a race off in future series. Maybe five 5lap races around different tracks and the first to three wins takes it.

Davey, Symp means if you/me and teeds are equal on points then it will go to the person with the most wins

It can't happen Green I've run the numbers and we can't draw. One of us will win that championship. Because if our scores go lower than a certain amount, old lower scores will kick in.

Yeah we can't draw with each other but we can draw with teeds, we're basicly on the same points unless we both finish below 6th place then last race will become my lowest score. but technically if you finish 6th I finish anywhere below that and teeds finishes 3rd we are all tied LOL. But yes It's not very likely

lol... anyway... we need a solution just in case this is happening... not only to determine 1st place and not only for this season.

And one more thing... I see in my calendar that this weekend the BST zone will be adjusted due to daylight saving time. I know CET will change next weekend. So do we have a different time difference next week between CET and BST?

If I finish below 6th my score wont count my 7points at La sarthe will count instead So If Davey finishes 6th - 7 points and I finish below him were are on the same points.

Also ment to say with new update we can limit cars to touring cars only and change the BHP and weight. So in practice lobbys we wont have people jumping in other cars anymore. yeah ....

Your list symp is the way i would suggest also. Total points (1) would be over the whole 7 races.

On the time issue, the race will start at the nornal time.

Normal time Uk or normal time CET? As there will be a 2 hour time difference between us at that point.

I'm guessing it will be Normal time GMT (8:30pm GMT) and everyone on different time zones will need to check to make sure of the their time difference.
