DubstepMusic

I can assure you he's a real human being. All of this 'Skrillex is crap lol!' and 'Nero is pop lol!' stuff is getting boring now. They're both brilliant artists and they ARE producing dubstep, no matter how much you hate it. Sure it's become popular and mainstream but it's still dubstep.

Also, thanks for your input terminator363 but I've yet to hear any song where the lyrics sound like "Beebeebeebeebeebeebeebeebee"

Nice try, though.

He's only a producer. He's no DJ. At least Nero actually perform live. Skrillex turns on his laptop and leaves it alone.

Their stage setups look pretty similar to me, just one uses MP3s and the other CDJs

Or do you mean that Nero composes live at gigs whereas Skrillex plays pre-recorded tracks only? I can't say I've ever seen Nero live for myself but from what I've seen online and on TV he is a DJ just like any other when performing live...

Besides, Skrillex has still produced the track in a studio, the same as Nero.

I have never seen ANY artist produce a track while DJing as it is almost impossible to do. Producing a good song is not something that can be done on-the-fly. When you are live, you DJ, when you are at the studio, you produce.

Do people really jam out like that in a club? Wow, that's dumb.

Some people I know love it. But I don't hear the music in it. The bit where it starts making malfunctioning robot and strangled cat noises just annoys me. Whenever there is anything that could be resembled as a vocal voice. It's edited enough that I could vomit! Sorry, but I don't like it.

Meh, Skrillex is ok, i like a couple of his tracks.

How about some Figure up in this ish!?

uh oh... you shouldnt listen to this one either, js...

It gets way better. Sometimes i feel like im the only one who knows whats up? lol

If your into the super dirty, nasty, grotesque, ear splitting substep... look no further than

I'm sure this has been posted before, but its still one of my favorites.

Benny Benassi - Cinema (Skrillex Remix)

And then Skrillex posted this on his facebook today. It's not dubstep, but it's still awesome.

What brought me into the Dubstep world. I tend to hate the more gigantic noise screw overs that has given dubstep a bad rep. I quite like this one.

A former good underground genre ruined by commercialism, I just don't get what the hype is...all of a sudden everyone seems to love this genre now, obviously most of them are just jumping on the bandwagon to fit in, as dubstep seems to be the next 'big thing' in terms of music. Other obvious things I've noticed; every hit pop track that comes out has a dubstep remix. Every funny video on youtube has a dubstep remix. Every track on youtube has a 'this track is so filthy' comment on it.

I would listen to tracks by artists like Benga, Loefah, Skream, Burial, Hatcha and so on but all wobble and noise you get today dubstep from artist like Skrillex, Nero, Chase n Status etc is not my cup of tea at all.

I'm more of a DnB fan anyway but doesn't mean I completely hate all of the dubstep being produced these days, the more 'darker' dubstep tracks you can find is stuff I like.

You're right, although commercial dubstep can be fun, 99% of it is pure crap. I love some of Nero's stuff though, Crush On You is awesome.

To add to my previous post this is the only style of dubstep I listen to now (apart from the older stuff)

basically its Industrial Dubstep

Love pretty much all types of dub, but the little kiddy fans do get on my nerves a bit. Listening to dub in a bus station late at night is apparently a 'rave' and DJ Fresh is a 'new artist'. Heh.

A mate of mine does sets at a few local nightclubs and from what he has heard from younger clubbers, dub is cool but d'n'b, house, etc is just filler. Kids, know your roots.

Turns out my uncle is a proper old school dubhead :embarrassed: It was so good having someone to talk to that knew what he was talking about (i.e he knew who Burial was :P).

^
Hahahahaha... i saw friends complaining to me pretty much similar than this charge...

By the way i just came here to say that Flux Pavillion >>>> All...

Lmao at the pic, but seriously.... No such thing as too much dubstep, just too many people who can't stand it. Lol

Dubstep is too synthesized for me. I can't quite understand the whole wub-wub thing. Different strokes for different folks I guess, but I prefer music with real instruments...

I have a few favorite dubstep artist: Skrillex, Deadmau5, Flux Pavilion, and Burial. My friends got me into dubstep and I like it. Good music.
