I'm surprised the numbers not higher. I do believe it'll be nov-dec this year, but I also believe they'll do typical GT fashion and not release enough copies, to make the wait even longer for the better half of GT players.

GT4 was released in December in Japan, Feb in the US and March in EU (+AU, NZ) from memory.

^Correct @ Jay. The closest release to June or September is the U.S. release of Gran Turismo 3 on July 9th, 2001.

Am I the only one hoping that this game gets canceled?
People need to realize that Sony/PD are a company and they will release the game when they think it will have the most success. Despite what most people here think they know exactly what they are doing.

September/October makes the most sense in the meantime. They need a big venue for a GT-palooza, and the only one coming up in time is E3. Which leaves exactly the right amount of time between then and the actual release.
