Everybody knows everything when In all no body knows crap.

...even if PD were hugely effected by it, which they weren't in the first place) to push your argument is almost sickening. And I seriously hope you didn't intend it to be.
Cracking input into the discussion, thanks.
More helpful input.
We know that GT6 has been in development since before GT5 was released.
We know most of the shortcomings of GT5 have nothing to do with power (or supposed lack of it) on PS3.
Therefore we're arguing the case for GT6 to be a PS3 title. If you have a problem or counter argument to that feel free to put it forward rather than pointless comments like that.
I see. That went deeper than I was led to believe, then. I apologize for the gross faux paus on my part. However:Members of families of PD employees died in the earthquake.
Many of PD employees lost their homes and their life belongings at the eartquake.
More than half of the studio moved their complete life, families and dearest ones from Tokyo to Fukouka for good in months after, never to come back to the capital again.
Heads of the studio moved to Fokuoka in later months leaving only parts of the employees who didn't want to move at the former HQ.
After few months of establishing a new server HQ at Fokuoka, complete new HQ and development centre has been re-established. It lasted for months in 2011, almost to the very end of the year.
And PD also did a tremendous help to the victims of earthquake and Fukushima accident not connected to the studio itself.
And no, they never intented to move to Fokuoka prior to the earthquake. They definitely wanted to expand, but moving from Tokyo was never a plan. But nevermind.
If there was no bad faith intended with him bringing that up, then I happily apologize for my response. But if there was (as is the case the majority of the times when people bring it up), then I stand by it; because the harsh reality is that as disruptive as it was for as long as it was things have continued in relative normalcy since then and for a good while now, and to continue to bring it up for every talking point (no matter how trivial) in the future is in insult to what happened. What is sickening is your "couch analyst" reasoning about finding a *valid* excuse for every point Pask made in good will and pretty much accurate I have to say, just in order to *prove* your points. And even more sickening is your deliberate *uber* mentality where you act like you have all the knowledge about everything.
Many of PD employees lost their homes and their life belongings at the eartquake.
Simon please dude, first of all the discussion is supposed to be about GT6 being announced at E3 right? Well that was answered yesterday If I am not mistaking. Instead you guys are turning this into a PD/KAZ history, What platform will GT6, etc etc. Your not on topic, and why you here let me ask you from your other quote sense your a Know it all, How can you say 5 years is enough to make GT5? How do you know this?
Again what does this have to do with the thread SIMON?
RichyJDo you have citations for any of these?
The discussion has clearly moved on and is still in relation to the original topic. Yes the pure answer to the question is clearly no but we can still continue to debate when GT6 may be announced, and for what console.
If the mods think it's not the right place, they'll lock it up.
As for your question about five years being enough, well why shouldn't it? Why should a video game take more than five years to develop? Just sit and think about how long that is for a moment. I don't know what you do for a living, but imagine what you can achieve in five years. I think it's a perfectly reasonable amount of time to create a video game, especially one that isn't totally from scratch in terms of focus and ideas. You can't tell me they spent months storyboarding and planning out A-Spec and B-Spec mode for example, when they're pretty much the same as GT1.
