His initial verdict is that RBR feels slightly better on gravel and WRC feels slightly better on tarmac, plus WRC is a modern game with all the benefits of “not being 20 years old” that entails.
The way I see it people have multiple good rally games to play now, whether it’s DiRT, EA WRC, KT WRC or RBR. Theres something for everyone.
Was slightly tongue in cheek. I’m a self confessed rally game nut and I don’t think I’ve missed a rally game since V-Rally 1 on the PS1. Still have RBR-RSF installed on my laptop and play it occasionally (partly why I have strong feelings over comparisons). But you’re right, we’re spoiled with a huge range of great games.
