I'm getting really bad texture pop in - walls just look like flat objects with no textures - but I have settings on full with a 4090, anyone got any tips of how to fix it?

There will be a wrc 2 late this year or not?

Got platinum and really drove all cara and stages. Nice game.

Hope for a fresh and improved career.

I doubt it by now, hoping for a big DLC though. All gone very quiet.
Yeah, I am doubtful on a sequel at this point, but hoping for more content as well. Given that there was that survey that actually asked about additional content, I'd assume they would have a pretty good gauge if there is enough interest?

Be brilliant to get a '24 update with the latest liveries and the Rally2 Yaris.

After 7 months of struggling with poor results and difficulty getting round anything less than a 6 I've found a new wheel setting that seems to have made all the difference. Saturation! I don't know why I haven't tried it before. :banghead:
Now I might be a little more competitive. Tried it out from 3rd stage in this week's club rally and I've already improved.
I drive with a wheel in cockpit or bonnet view so I know I'm never gonna be top dog but I might not be last every time now
I've already completed some Moments that were defeating me before.

EA and Codemasters have more to do with introducing a kernel level EA anticheat instead of optimizing WRC and adding the 2024 season. Also Codemasters is working on F1 24 so WRC seems to have not really focus.
Even the patch 1.8 thread in EA forum is missing.

But with 1.9 and EA anticheat it seems that I can't play the game anyway what also means no money from my side to EA and no need for a DLC or another season at least from my side.

This is why we can't have nice things. Cheaters wreck things for everyone by forcing devs to implement solutions like this. If only they didn't lock out legitimate players.

I'm glad I play on Xbox.

If people didn't cheat we wouldn't need anti-cheat. Sucks but people bought it on themselves. Also the F1 and WRC dev teams are completely separate and we have no idea what's being developed in the background.

Yup. Apart from anti cheat ( which seemingly only affects PC ) we have yet more cosmetic additions in the season to attain, more boring liveries and dressup items for the avatar.
Doesn't look like we'll ever get any dlc cars

I played the Dirt Rally games, but held off on picking this up because I'm wary of EA. Is this game any good? I had hoped it was basically Dirt Rally 3 with a different branding. I'd be willing to buy it on sale if that's the case.

Yeah, pretty much. It's well worth the sale price, its a steal really. Not particularly encouraging that it's so heavily discounted and so quiet on a sequel/update DLC, I'd have expected sonething to be announced by now if it was coming. The game itself is really good - detailed, authentic, loads of locations, brilliant car list. Its got everything going for it now really, it just maybe feels a little bit sterile. Hopefully lots of people pick it up on sale and reignite a bit of interest in it, because it seems to have waned quite rapidly.

Yeah it's great. Had a few early issues and it's not as polished as I was hoping for, but the overall driving experience is great

I took advantage of the sale and picked this one up, I prefer buying physical but at that price it was a no-brainer.

I’ve only put in a few hours so far, and just in the early stages of Career mode, but it’s pretty fun albeit not massively next-gen looking on PS5.

Come and join the GTPlanet and modern classics clubs 😀.

My PC is from around 2017/2018 so I don't think I'd be able to run it on anything but minimum settings, if at all. I do have a Series X though.

Any top end PC is going to beat console but that’s not what most people have! It’s fine on Series X. I’ve got both PS5 and XSX versions (don’t ask - I tried to refund it when it had loads of bugs early and ended up with two versions and a lecture about frittering away money) and for my money it runs quite a bit smoother on the XSX and always has really.
