If only the Democrats had been nice and done the fraud so those defamation lawsuits that cost Fox News and Sydney Powell and Rudy Giuliani and Pillow Guy billions of dollars wouldn't have gone the way they did.

Damn liberals.

There are many crimes that are illegal.

Imagine being so dumb that you've been looking to move your company to another state for years and everyone knows that you were going to do it at some point and why you were going to do it (more favorable regulations, lower taxes) but then you decide to announce it and the reasoning you give for it is transphobic.

Or Musk will shoot himself (and his companies) in the foot by firing all of them with some illegal "HR loyalty test" and replacing them with incompetent stooges to go along with his yes-men board.

That would probably work for Twitter. Replacing your SpaceX employees with incompetent stooges to build & maintain space rockets?

I think we're gonna say goodbye to both feet.

According to Electrek, Elon has essentially going to war against Tesla, despite having just increased his financial dependence on Tesla's stock value:-

"Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who said he would stay on the sidelines during this election, will spend $45 million per month to elect Donald Trump, a presidential candidate who has repeatedly targeted EVs during his campaign and who has promised to end EV incentives in exchange for a billion dollars in bribes from the oil industry.

Just weeks after winning a shareholder advisory vote to reinstate his stock grant, Tesla CEO Elon Musk has apparently figured out another great way to waste money.

According to the WSJ, Musk is committing $45 million per month to a newly-formed Super PAC intended to increase republican voter turnout in swing states, with the goal of electing former reality TV host and three-time republican nominee Donald Trump to the presidency.

The move comes as Musk has shown little interest in electric cars lately, spending much more attention on various culture war causes that he has picked up on while scrolling through Twitter – the company he bought for $44 billion which has since lost 72% of its value."

Maybe Musk thinks Tesla is already X and he can leverage one part of it to boost another!

Part of me wonders if Elon is thinking that if he dumps enough money to help get Trump elected, he can ask Trump to have the federal government "bail out" Twitter's losses in some fashion.

If that happens, I hope the Democrats run with "Trump gives illegal immigrant billions for failed company" or in more racist areas "Trump gives African American man free money"

Or is he trying to angle to get more funding for all of his companies. I don't think anyone running on a fiscally responsible platform would ever consider giving Elon money as part of it.

That "72% of its value" figure always seemed pretty goofy to me since it was never valued at near what Musk paid for it to begin with. "72% of its value before Musk got in a bidding war with himself" more likely

With that fish-belly white complexion of his, he better be careful about floating in the lake on his back.

I guess that makes the guy he's giving $45m a month to a Muppet - since he's basically got his entire arm up his arse.
To put $45m a month into perspective...

... it is significantly more than the estimated cost of repairing the Francis Scott Key Bridge in Baltimore (the one that was destroyed by that container ship).

That's a lot of ****ing money.
