I want to say yes, but this is an issue I hadn't considered before. Perhaps since this is a relatively laid back series you could try with them off as a chance to work on your driving skills. Thoughts anyone?

I'd highly encourage not using the driving line at all. I'm going to relay my experience with the driving line. I used to race with the Driving Line and had a buddy on me all the time to get rid of it. I fought it and he persisted, said I'd learn the tracks better, would drive better and have more fun. I couldn't let go of it.
After many many months of him bugging me, I finally relented, as much to shut him up as to get better
It was awkward at first, overshooting turns, turning in too early etc. But, in a short time, I started to pick out landmarks I could use for braking and turn in and I must say he was right.I got to know the circuits really well, drove better and low and behold had more fun
Not trying to strong arm you into this, you'll make whatever decision is best for you 👍
racefan, I have no issue with having the D5 allowable aids turned on. We're racing Thursdays for fun right

I was meaning to aks this earlier, but did anyone have any conection issues last thursday? It was the first time I've hosted a SNAIL event and it seemed to me like there were no major issues, so unless someone has anything to report I'll probably go ahead and host again this week.

Despite the relatively low turnout there was some fantastic racing last night. Thanks to everyone who showed up! 👍
Round 3 recieved the most elimination votes, so dabneyd gets to pick a new combo to replace it
Round 2 recieved the second most elimination votes, so albtifosi gets to pick either a new track or car spec to replace it
*drrgreenthumb did not recieve points for his 2nd place finish in race 5 because his car was limited well beyond the 10% maximum. This brings up an important point, if you do not have a car that fits within the specs for a given round without excessive limiting, feel free to race anyway for fun, but your points will not be counted.
Your other options is to do what I did in the last round and enter a car that isn't competitive just to salvage a few points

This really interest me but sometimes I just want to practice the combos for Sunday's races. However, I think I can make it today.
The 480PP MR Street Cars @ Circuito de Madrid combo seems like a very fun one.
