well, Larsson is indeed a top striker, but don't forget that he was completely UNDANGEROUS in the match Celtic- Glasgow Rangers. Frank de Boer kept him under control like no one else had ever done.

I think you'll find the Swedes have a team. The Dutch just seem to be a group of individuals.
Celtic really only play when Larsson plays. Sweden have Ibrahimovic & Ljungberg too. If you shackle Larsson, are you going to get Ibrahimovic too?

Well, dispite Glasgows bad season....Frank de Boer was actually the only person to stop HENKE!....but i don't know how he performed against other players.
Let's just wait and see......only 7 hours left.
P.s. almost every player in the Swedish team has or is still playing for a dutch club, so we're pretty familiar with their qualities.

I knew exactly who you meant, but that's not the point. The point is there is more than one team in Glasgow (neither of whom I support incidentally), just as there is in Manchester, Liverpool & Eindhoven etc.
To get back on topic, it all comes down to who is the better team. The Czechs don't have the individual players that the Dutch have, but they play as a team. Who won between Czechoslovakia and Holland? The Dutch are well known for their infighting and not playing as a team. When they play well, they can destroy anyone, but the tensions between the groups of players always seem to get in the way.

Guess neither of them won since I don't know exactly 10-15 years maybe more, cause in that time Czechoslovakia split in two seperate countries, and you talk about being precise
And Drikiyo please hold your emotions to your self man, come on....... their is no point in kicking Daan when he's already down. I think he has to agree that the Dutch have a better team then schotland has and that is was already disapointing to say the least that we lost in Schotland..

If we're on a precision drive, it wasn't a match - it was an aggregate score from two matches, one of which Scotland won.
As daan pointed out, there is more than one team in Glasgow and since they're bitter rivals, calling one of them "Glasgow" is really rather crap. What the Scottish national team has to do with any of this is perplexing.

That's a good point. But i think they'll play as a team this time, because for some players it will be the last chance for something beautiful.
And Davids is doing a hell of a job keeping everybody motivated and together. It's a real team this time.
