CNBCNow that politicians in Strasbourg have come to an agreement, the next stage for the law will be what's known as "trilogue," which consists of talks between European Parliament, EU executive body the European Commission, and a collective of the leaders of EU member states known as the European Council.
And even once the directive goes through this process, it will still require each individual EU nation to decide on how they will implement the new rules.
I guess this is integrating into Western society too:It's good to see you finally posting a story about immigrants integrating with the communities they're joining.
The Telegraph article is behind a paywall. The two wikipedia articles deal with voter fraud and local government corruption. Not sure what evidence this provides that furriners aren't integrating. It's just crooked politicos unless they were somehow corrupt because they were immigrants.I guess this is integrating into Western society too:

Those are all instances just in Britain....
To be fair, removal of the wall appears to require registration rather than payment. That said, I can't be bothered to register and I wouldn't expect anyone else to either. The Telegraph article is behind a paywall.
Clarification accepted and fully endorsed. It's the Torygraph after all.To be fair, removal of the wall appears to require registration rather than payment. That said, I can't be bothered to register and I wouldn't expect anyone else to either.
Comparing a well-developed Western European state to Syria/Libya/Somalia doesn’t sound relieving.Do people even know what a no go zone is??
So called European no go zones do not even come close to the ones in Turkey, Brazil, Mexico, Syria, Libya and Somalia.
Comparing a well-developed Western European state to Syria/Libya/Somalia doesn’t sound relieving.
It’s like when have serious problems at something but someone tells you “Have you thought about poor African kids? They’re doing a lot worse!”.
But they can’t!!!Just because other countries have it worse doesn't mean Western Europe shouldn't use their law enforcement resources to clean up the areas where immigrant gangs have turned car burning and rioting into a regular pastime.
You guys are all going to be riding bicycles pretty soon. Don't worry, it's for the greater good.Europe has to make up for all that black stuff China and India are making.
As you wish....The Telegraph article is behind a paywall. The two wikipedia articles deal with voter fraud and local government corruption. Still seems amazing to me, that my mid-life crisis could involve buying a non-petrol stupid carActually there are relatively a lot of electric and hybrid cars here in the Netherlands. I also drive a hybrid myself.
I guestimate by 2030 we will have longrange batteries and fastchargers or maybe Hydrogen powered cars that outperform regular engines in efficiency anyways.
Still seems amazing to me, that my mid-life crisis could involve buying a non-petrol stupid car
How could it? If the EU forces, by law, that all new cars be non-petrol, what relevance would petrol motor-sports have? For a daily driver I highly recommend electric/hybrid cars actually. I am all for progress, but I also hope that motorsport will always have combustion engines.
How could it? If the EU forces, by law, that all new cars be non-petrol, what relevance would petrol motor-sports have?
I mean, the whole point of WEC and F1 is that, at least in theory, they push technology that then can trickle down into roadcarsI am not sure how the law is written, but does motorsports fall into that catagory? I get that carbrands will have no incentive to keep building combution engines anymore, but there are still enough enthousiast in the world. Try watching Formula E it is fun for a while, but it just isnt the same without real engine sounds.
Perhaps its wishfull thinking. I always hoped hydrogen perhaps could replace petrol someday, but the technology is focused on the electric motor route instead of a combustion engine. Then again perhaps some genius does find a clean alternative to petrol in a few years. The oil companies are working hard not to collapse by 2030.

Yeah, I don't see why notThat was what I was referencing to. Can you imagine a full electric Formula 1?
Yeah, I don't see why not
Ever watched Formula E?
Yeah a few times.
Though after thinking about it more, batteries are an actual issue. The batteries in the current F1 cars will stop working in something like 7-8 years(?) and the engines will be literally worthless and unusable. Can you imagine, an entire generation of F1 cars totally unable to move unless the engineer bespoke engines to move them about it for demo runs, but never being able to actually drive them on the original engines.... awful.
So yeah, I don't know what the solution is or if it will go all electric or hydrogen or what, but it can't stay petrol for ever
This seems to be a reason to crack down on unscrupulous community leaders rather than to halt Muslim immigration.
