First post here so dont be too hard on me LOL. Anyway I want to thank AMAR forgiving us the preview. I have the Japanese version of GT5P , but I am still going to buy the european version. Does anybody have any Idea when the European GT5P will be available?
Just two Simple questions for amar. (1) Is the black flag Penilty thing still there. I ask because I find it infuriatingly annoying. (2) Is there an improvement in the graphics.
Im not too excited about the Formula 1 car but I cant wait to drive the Ferrari F40. Also I cant wait to see the tuning that can be done to the cars , If any can be done at all. I have been a big fan of Gran Turismo since I played GT1 on the PS1. I have All the Gran turismo games except the previous prologues. I saw GT5 Prologue and it was worthy of my cash.

Is the camera for the cockpit view adjustable? I would like it to be a bit more forward so it [the camera] would be the eyes of the driver and not a camera sitting on the shoulder of the driver. In other words, I need more track and less interior for me please

also, my friend said that the rims looks like the 08 model because of the spokes.
I've done some small research of this car to determine whether or not if it is the 2006 or 2008 model. I'll just copy and paste since I'm too lazy to type it up again
anyway, here it is.
someone said that the license plate "holder" of gt5p's viper looks more like a trapezoid than rectangle. but from what I've seen, both the 2006 and 2008 model have this trapezoid shape.
one of my friends suggested that we should look at the wheels. he said those are the 08 wheels because of the spokes
reasons of it being 2006:

^ if you magnified the picture in paint, you will see that the enblem has some red shades to it

the EU lists it as 06 model.
Fishy but how did they know if the official site hasnt updated yet?

the kg for 2008 is the same as the one in the game.
the spokes on the wheel can be from the 2008 model.

conclusion:
it can be a 06 model for the EU but seeing 2008 model for the US
version wont be surprising.. 50/50 chance i suppose.
The biggest
factor is the KG weight. Because the 2008's KG is exactly the same,
that one site (forgot the name) listed the viper as a 2006 model could
be a mistake.

Those rims are very different from the standard '08 model rims. The rims in the game are the 2006 model rims. The 2008 rims are similar but had a bar across them, and the solid 5 spokes are thicker than the 2006 Coupe's solid 5-spoke.
But the Viper in the game is not a 2008 model. Yellow & Grey are no longer options, and the 2008 model has introduced Viper Blue, Viper Violet, Viper Very Orange, Venom Red, & Snake Skin Green.

I'm not too sure on this, but I know there has been a lot of discussion about the 5 cars being omitted from the PAL version.
In the japanese version, I found a car list I used a while back that did NOT include 5 prize cars on that list.
Do you think that if you gets all golds on one section, that one of those missing 5 cars could be a prize car?

For that F2007, I just might need to get that DFGT lol.
Now I suspect if there are more F1 cars coming to the GT series. Maybe that's why nothing has came out for the F1-series from the SCE Liverpool studio...
