EXCLUSIVE GT5:P Spec II - NINTH update (NEW DFGT Wheel Hands-On, April 18)

Looking at Posts #319 and #324, this is the first time since GT1(?) in which a Viper in GT is available in blue with white stripes. I don't see why blue with white stripes was never offered since GT1. I'm not counting the Racing Modification in GT1 and GT2 where you could have a Viper in blue with white stripes. The Viper won't be around anymore after 2011 (or so I read from the Auto News forum), but at least this beast is ready to feast in GT5. Great to see the Viper again, especially the latest Viper. I personally never really liked convertible Vipers for some reason. My brother had a model Viper R/T 10 as part of a 1/25 scale car kit. I got the first-gen Viper GTS as a 1/25 die-cast car. Always loved the Viper. Great to see it again, only this time, the awesome SRT-10 Viper hard top- not the convertible one I didn't like all that much. Though, I wouldn't be surprised if we get both the hardtop and convertible Vipers in GT5P, let alone GT5.

Just been watching BBC Click Online, they let it slip that the UK version will have the added bonus of the Top Gear Test Track, it would be nice if someone official could confirm this

It has been officially confirmed for some time now, however it will not be featuring in Prologue, only in the full GT5 game.

Yes i know it has been confirmed for the full game, however they were talking about Prologue release and not the full game.

You're not serious are you? Let's not get carried away here. GT5P will be cool and everything, but to say you're gonna say goodbye to PC sims such as rFactor and Race '07, is just taking things overboard. GT5P has a ways to go before it reaches the greatness that is rFactor.

WOW! If that's the case that truly is impressive. The paint on the F2007 changed mid season 2007 from the lighter "Marlboro" shade to the darker,richer shade more reminiscent of Ferraris of old.

Someone said about the absence of the wheel covers from the car too. This shouldn't be a problem wirth regards to sponsorship as the covers were made by BBS (the wheel company) who are licensed for the GT series.

It might be a purely aesthetic choice or potentially the fact that they would have had to have been created as individual parts for a model that's already far more intricate than anything else in GT5P.

Its true. They said it on the Top Gear website months that the Top Gear test Track will be on GT5 and there will be Top Gear episodes available to download. But I think you will have to pay for the Top Gear episodes

Since you already have GT5 I understand that you have your source. I would only like to ask if your source knows if the Japanese version will have some on-line update, will it be free or will we have to buy it on BD or will we have to buy new game? I did not look into whole topic since I wait for updates in first post but if all those questions have already been answered please send a link and I will edit post and only first sentence remain

It's really good to see the classic blue with white stripes return for the Viper. Now if only we could have it for the GTS. Who knows, PD might add some extra colors from the cars in the Japanese release.
