OK i just got back from a family dinner at my sisters place and checked my hotmail and low and behold a news notice from gtplanet. S ooi check it not thinking much... then i seen Formula 1 and "F1" splashed everywhere it was like as if i just injected myself on speed (the drug not the velocity ) O....M...F....G! Dream come true! I lived in fear we may not get F1 cars in GT5 because its always seemed to be a 'touchy' issue. And to basically wash all my fears away by seeing an OFFICIAL F1 car in GT5P.... priceless! This is awesome as i'm a huge F1 fan (go Mark!.. don't worry son you'll do aight in the race tomorrow if that damn car doesnt fall apart on you like always).

My only dream left aside from insane stats in GT5... the full 2008 F1 track list! haha (yeah fat chance i know).

Great news and for me possibly the best news for GT5 for a long time!

PS. I'm confused... and i've not read it anywhere.. but can someone confirm or deny... is there License tests in Prologue? And will there be in GT5 does anyone know? I love them.. they are a great challenge and i hope they stay.

There are no license tests in Prologue, they have 'Events' instead which is series of races (kind of like a mini GT mode) and timetrials with other cars on track and a time limit, not to mention Online racing and online time trials, and online ranking.

I am very sure full GT5 will still include license tests.

Hey, i was just wondering if there is anyway we can get an mp3 of the intro sequence. I know no ones wants anything to get spoiled, but i'm really interested in the intro song. Anyway, if this topic has already been addressed then i'm sorry, but i read through about half the pages and couldn't find anything about it.

hey all, im not much of a highspeed 'race' car fan, i just love the tuning portion, nothing like suping a clapped out old car

any hints yet as to the tuning options, will there be more? i hope to god it's more indepth

There are actualy 4 types of people who get there kicks out of games like GT5 and Forza 2 ect ect, you have the die hard racers and time trial guys, then theres the Drift racers, You also get people who are tuning nuts and finally the arty bods who go in for the photo mode! of course most like a number of these things, personaly photo mode and online raceing is my kick. As for the Tuning on GTp.....were waiting for info on that but there liiks to be quite a lot!

For me, I really Prefer bone stock cars, and just put S1-S3 tires. Sometimes I just to like to race a slightly moded car. I only Extreme mod for Missions and for money.

You know, when I look at every thing we have seen with GT5 so far such as insane graphics, 16 cars on the track at once, Daytona, Ferrari, Ferrari F1 car, Beatiful cockpit cam, new and improved High Speed Ring (I believe this makes the most other classic tracks a lock for GT5) and everything else. It's untelling what other suprises we will see for the full GT5.

Also, they have both Oval and the road course which I believe is the 24 hr course.
