That's it, if I somehow come across about $600 that I can spend on anything down in Nashville at College, Im getting a PS3, GT5, and the new wheel and converting my room into a GT paradise, no matter what my room mate says

Okay.. I misread the release date wrong. I thought the US release was on the 26th, not the 16th. Editing my post.

It could have happened to anybody :) Hell people are still asking whats the difference between GT5:P and the Full GT5. I also still see people thinking GT5:P is the full game. Without mistakes we wouldnt be human. But yeah the usa version is out on the 16th or 17th of april.

Wow, that video was very impressive. Great sound.
Thanks to Jordan and Amar for making it possible to see all this great info, I think I am going to have to get myself a PS3 just for this, and MGS4. :D

Hi,💡
I asked the following question on several forums already,
but I've never got an exact answer:
What if I'm a European getting a US version of the game ,
Will i be able to race online on euro. servers ?

In short, will online PAL Vs. NTSC race work ?

Amar212, thanx for the great info! 👍

10x in advance.

thats something we will have to wait to find out. right now we dont know for sure if online play will be reagion locked or worldwide

The video is perfect. No one can guess it's a game. But I am curious if GT can lock steering on 900° Logitech Steering Wheels for F1 to 180°. I think Richard Burns game can do it, so it would be logical and nice. I don't want F1 in GT to steer as nut in Monaco.

👍 Great work!

Drifting
*snip* when you drive section bad they "boooooo" you *snip*
:ill: Oh dear, I'm going to be hearing alot of that since I can't drift for toffee...

I'm glad to hear that the F2007 is pretty much only available as a 'prize car' 👍 Gives me an incentive to play the game fully!

Thanks for the update Amar.

That is a shame about the S8 event, it was fun.
And those crowd reactions in Drift is a nice touch.

One question about the 2players mode:
One thing i did´nt like on the GT4 was the ugly split-screen replays on the 2player races.... now, in the gt5 i want to know if the replays can be watched without split-screen....

...what about this.. anyboody knows?

Didn't check out really, but now you've got me a point. Will do it afternoon.

Yes but not in time trial mode
Notice it is still not 100% confirmed for the Time-Trial mode. At his point it just seems so, but we'll have to wait for true Online to begin.

I thought you'd confirmed all cars in time trial mode were restricted to S2 tyres? Logicaly this as you said was the reason the video you saw, had S2 tyres on the F1 Ferrari. Ok not 100% confirmed but logicaly from your findings you should be able to change tyres apart from in time trial mode. Oh and whats with everybodys golf? is it as good as people are saying?:)

New update available in the first post.

Cheerz.

Can you tell us something about the 100 point-scale difficulty setting? Are there any big differences when you put it on 1 and when you put it on 100?

Also, have you driven the Art Morrison Corvette, or have you seen it in a race? Guessing from the screenshots convertibles still have their roofs on in races, what about the corvette?

I'll do a throught Arcade Mode check later today, I was keen to finish all Events first - regarding 0-100 AI-scaling. But from Events racing I can tell you that AI is greater than ever. It alsmost seems you're racing real humans in some points, and as I had an apportunity to drive many 6-player LAN races in GT4 (Stinger, my mate :D), I guesss I can pretty much say that confidently.

As for Corvette, I di not buy it yet, but there are few races in S venue where it races, and it's opened. Also notice that there are few of them in the field at-once so I guess that open-cars in races are pretty-much confirmed now.

That is good to know, I was starting to think the ps3 couldn't handle them.
