So in time trial mode you can't change tyre type ? Is this correct ? How are we supposed to practice on different tyres . I hope this isn't the case.

... But from Events racing I can tell you that AI is greater than ever. It alsmost seems you're racing real humans in some points...

Thanks for the continuus updates amar212. Can you tell a bit more about the better AI. E.g. do you mean better than in the japanese version? And do they make more mistakes, like missing apexes or getting into the grass etc.

I would love to see the AI make mistakes like giving the car too much throttle, making it spin in the corner.

I remember once in GT4, in the F1 race on Nürburgring, one of the cars lost control and from there it was total chaos...

Yes, this is slightly worrying as much of my time playing GT, and indeed GT5P is spent just driving around on my own on N2 tires. I can understand that they want equality in the online rankings, though to be honest JP version where you can choose your tyre time seems to work perfectly well. Perhaps a Free Run mode where your time isn't uploaded is the answer. Anyway, the game isn't on the shelves yet so anything can happen, we'll just have to wait and see.

Worth mentioning is tyre-chooser in Time Trial mode. I have pretty much jump on conclusion what could be the point behind above-mentioned (in my first update I think) non-ability to choose other tyre-component besides S2 in Time-Trial. Thisway, all Time-Trial races will be run on the same compound for all cars (which explains why the even F2007 uses S2 compound), thus making the Time-Trial Online Rankings more competitive for showing the true TOP100 drivers in the World. Since Rankings didn't work in both times when test-online was up, I still can't confirm this 100%, but somehow I think it could be the case. Of course, JP system with all compounds and both physics-modes was more detailed (and I liked it more to be honest), but thisway there will be more competition I guess.

Not sure how that will work out and has me slightly concerned, but all shall be revealed i guess.

By the way, ive just seen the best online game advert ever. It was on http://www.skysports.com . Keep browsing and youll see it somewhere, it said: See london at 180mph, then some pics, then a full gameplay vid of a lap of london in a honda, and it looks FAST! Then it links to play.com!! Great marketing campaign they got going for this in the UK at the moment.

Hey Amar, i haven't seen anything about the 2-player split screen yet. Could you write a little about it in your next update? I got some questions about it:

- Can you set a amount of laps yourself?
- Does the splitscreen mode have has a reply at the end of a race?
- Can the replay (if there is any) been set to fullscreen?

It's not able to be unlocked, unfortunately. You only race against it in some races.
