I made a 500PP version of Shaun's Audi Pikes Peak quattro '03 (550PP SS) but on Comfort Soft Tyres for the Expert Race, the only change I made to the tune is to use my own transmission and to add no Ballast Weight or Ballast Position. This thing is fast, no matter what field you get nothing come even close to the Audi as long as you don't make to many mistakes you will be fine, best race time 13:39.549 and thanks to you Shaun :cheers:.

Finally got a race in the expert seasonal where the LFA wasn't the rabbit. Instead, I had a 430 Scuderia which tried to pit manoeuvre me on the last corner but it actually braked so I wasn't pushed off the track. Great little car the Series One.. Even on CS tyres, I can feel where all the grip is and initiate some nice little drifts without knocking too much speed off.

Now that race is done, I have all three golds for this months seasonal races. Thanks PD.. I am loving the additional races you mentioned ages ago..

Another old car that is pretty good at going toe-to-toe with newer models. This thing may surprise you with its grip and agility, even at the limit. It does have a limit though so don't be surprised if this car bites back at some point.

This car is awesome:bowdown: Shaun to drive in the Expert Race, a little bit tail happy but it is no problem just ease the throttle out of the corners and you be right :cheers:.

A very cool prototype car that has a lot of mechanical grip. A car that didn't need much tuning to make it easy to drive at the limit and go up against much newer cars.

Intermediate race winner and second in Expert Level in the first try between LFA and 430 Scuderia. A better driver can win. It needs work in the suspension to fit CS tyres. Another great tune!

Im loving this seasonal! Unfortunately, this was a pretty ugly race for me - 1 shortcut penalty caused by being rammed from behind (another 5s penalty) and going off into the grass, and then I got another 5s ramming penalty on the first corner on the last lap because he sideswiped me from behind again in the apex! So 13s in penalties and still won without having to block!

How do you rate the most underpowered car? Do you go by HP or Kg/HP?

Also, I noticed that you have P(some #) +(some #) after each tune... like after the opel tune its P94 +2797. What does that code mean?

In the early days of this thread, I didn't link my posts due to previous issues. To get around that issue. I used page number and post number to direct people to the tunes. I have made it easier since then by linking posts but still put the post numbers on like I always did.

My overall time could have been better but received 2 penalties,once i've misjudged myself at the breaking point before the chicane after the long straight.(first lap)
The second time i've drived into the back of the LFA when i was trying to pass it.
This time i've received fairly given penalties.
The LFA finished over 5 seconds behind me.

It seems to me when you're able to get under a overall time of 14 minutes you can build a gap,if you're not able to make it under 14 minutes,the competition will keep the pressure on till the finish line.

Nice Video , but i miss the old crew
I think LeBlanc is okay, but Evans' voice just kills me. He actually sounds like the "nerd voice" that Hammond does. Maybe they'll develop a better rapport over time, but I miss the fake animosity the old crew had with each other. Two of them ganging up on a third. I always liked when Hammond and May would gang up on Clarkson of course because Clarkson has that bully personality. I'll keep watching the new series for a while at least, but I'm really looking forward to The Grand Tour.
 
I have a strong suspicion that Jenson Button will one day host top gear. Once he hangs his helmet up in the F1 world, he would make an excellent TV presenter because he was able to talk about cars interiors whilst power drifting an insanely powerful McLaren car. That guy has serious skills!
That would be good if Jenson Button to host Top Gear 👍.
 
I've watched a couple of the new top gears. LaBlanc is there for star power to keep the show going after the old crew was scrapped. Not his car knowledge.
Evan is the car guy but man is he annoying.
I do like the new Rally X track.

Edit; Personally I think they should talk Hammond into coming back, his personality would balence well with the new guys and help them build some cred

The BBC couldn't afford Hammond now that he has a deal signed with Amazon Prime. I don't know how much he gets paid now but I imagine it is a lot more than the Beeb paid him.
