As far as the thread goes...A, i don't know how to and B this was a joint effort... With chrisspeed281, Pete05 for coming up with the idea of High turbo and added weight and of course the Awesome tuners Shaunm80 and Praiano:bowdown::bowdown: All i did was change a few settings for this track and raced.

But i do appreciate your post and glad it helped with getting gold:)

This seasonal race has been the most fun and tears i've ever had with this game.....is it a game or is it real...lol

So far Chris me and the Gillet are not getting on...lol
I'm getting 3.35's at the moment and best 4th... so i'm going to try different tweaks:confused:

The Gillet i not in the same group as the LMP's in real. A LMP comes with downforce 600/850 so the are more stable at fast Curves but the Gillet can annoy them. But it's not a waste of Credits cause it's one of the best 650 PP Cars :)

Its definetely a wicked fast car and enjoyed racing it on La Sarthe but your'e right its not quite fast enough through the corners and thanks for letting me know about it..i will be using it at 650pp races....in fact i will give it a go on one of my favourite races...N24 Midnight racers:cheers: cheers mate

I managed to get the Pascarolo C60 down to 3.20.298...best lap time so far for La Sarthe :gtpflag:

i just added 5kg more to the 50kg i already had so 55kg total...you get 700pp 990Bhp and 955kg...i think this as helped to make it a little bit more stable under heavy braking:)

Thanks...:) i had the other Pescarolo C60 breathing down my neck...so it really pushed me real hard and nearly made a few mistakes..lol

I had 3 goes last night with the Lotus on Spa best time so far is 2.00.752.so only Bronze at the moment....but will have another go later today....hope i can do better..i'm finding this car a bit too sensitive without skid recovery on....so i just need to find my drivers settings:confused:

How did you get on with it?

I pulled off a 1:49.293 run using a slightly modified praiano tune. So i'd say it went pretty well.. I'm certain there's more time to be shaved off if i can manage to keep the massive tyrespin under control.. Throttle control and a bit of shortshifting has helped me so far but there needs to be some tweaks made if i'm gonna get lower..

Gonna go at it soon..

I did it with TC 5 and Active Steering at low. ( i dont' know how you call it in english, at my german version it's called Aktiv Steuerung )
 
I only use ABS set at 1,all other aids off.. I found that TC only made the car slower and more prone to understeer. So i don't use it..

I have to use TC also Chris so thanks for the info and yes its called active steering. it has 3 settings off..mild and strong..is yours set to mild or off...cheers

Hmm.... Found two vids on youtube regarding the Lotus event at Spa...

1st vid shows someone pulling off a 1:53.XXX The wheelspin is strong with this one.




2nd vid. Another guy posting 1:55.174. Notice the TC biting back.




After seeing these vids i feel the need to post my own, but since i don't have capture card, i'm all out of luck. I don't really see myself sitting with my phone or tablet recording off the tv as plausible though.. Wouldn't be the same.

Well I've tried for Gold...and all i can get is Silver 1.57.894...just cant seem to get those extra 2 sec off:banghead:

They use Wheels and manual Shifting. I don't play in that League

I checked it already , active steering was set to strong and controller sensitive to -1. Hope it helps

Those settings have definitely helped...its feels a lot lighter at the front to turn now....I've managed 1.57.239:)
its me and not the settings i keep making silly mistakes....i think i will go back to it in the morning.
By the way did you turn off ASM.....Active Stability Management??? cheers mate
