F.I.T.T. Rally and Street Tuner Challenge by MCH

I might enter if I can find a tester to sub in for me, since I'm really too busy right now to dedicate hours to testing unfortunately; that and my dirt times are also useless.

Since Ron is helping out Despy I will go ahead and offer my shoes for you. đź‘Ť

May have to go back to the Veterans Hospital if my arm doesn't start to get better soon.:(

My wife works at the one out here. She could take care of your paperwork but I don't think she'd be able to fix your arm without a hammer....or a stapler. :D:lol:

I will change the Citroen to pair the Xarsas.

After all the fuss someone better tune the darn things. :ill:

Also, to anyone looking for a car or two let me know and I can rummage through my accounts.

Thanks DB, I'd really appreciate it. :) That is, if I find time to even get on the PS3 to tune the cars...

Hami, put me down as a tentative entry for tuner, with DB as my sub tester, thanks. :)

Just a tuner, my lap times aren't up to par with everyone else's... if you saw the nurb challenge times. lol

We are trying something new with this competiton. All tuners need to either test or find a substitue tester. I will split the tunes into groups so that the testing time investment is somewhere between 4 hours and 8 hours.

No need to stress about your driving skills. I don't think that many of us will be awesome at the dirt track. Consistency across tunes is really what is important so your lap times compared to only your lap times. I encourage you to test. I know that when I have tested I also learned something else to try in my tuning. It has made me a better tuner. Besides, this is a fun car list so who wouldn't want a chance to drive these.

Okay, I'll test as well then, but don't expect me to be at the top of the class for fastest lap with any of the cars :D

I would like.

I already said I would like to be a tuner :dopey:

We currently have two volunteer testers, nomis and ninjamike. You will need to convince one of them to test for you or do you have another GT Planet friend whom you can recruit to test drive for you?

Actually I have to apologize , I forgot I'm going to my uncle's house , vacations and they can't connect the PS3 there nor they have internet soo I can't do it :(

I read your sig , so I searched your post. Found something and added it in bold. There are also two o's in so , but that's probably an accident.
You have better grammar than most people , so I have no idea why you're asking for help. You

No time to tune or no time to test? Happy to have you participate in either.

I'm going to my uncle's house like I said for 2 weeks maybe.

It's 3:41 AM , I have to go at 4 Pm , soo the only way is if I could , sign in , make the cars tuned , share them and send FR to all ... in 12:18 Hours ...

I'd like to try tuning for this challenge.

edit: Does anyone have a Impreza WRX STi Version '00 for trade? I'll even give you one of the premium 850k ones for it.

I have an extra one in my garage. It's yours if you want it.

I have picked three different rally cars to test; one new WRC car, one late 90's car and one whacky entry. All three are currently almost identical dirt lap times. One feels awesome, but I think is as fast as it is going to get. Another one is just as fast, but feels way more loose. The whacky entry is almost as fast as the other two, but just has not soul. Having a difficult time choosing.

Can't be to wacky if you feel it has no soul!:lol:

I tried a rough tune test of the 5 Maxi Turbo on Eiger Short...got a decent lap time but was white knuckled the whole time and needed fresh drawers afterwards.
Haven't dared try the rally version after that experience...don't think my heart is up to that level of insanity.:scared::lol:

I tried the rally version when I was thinking about PP levels and bonus points. I couldn't even finish a lap without driving part of it facing backward.

I'm thinking of offering a bounty, say 10 random gears, 5 random paints and any tradeable car, for any tuner that can tune the Maxi's so they are both controllable by mortal drivers and can post fairly competitive lap times. Say within a couple seconds of the average for all entries. I love the kind of insanity that created these little French monsters and I have the highest respect for the real life drivers that actually raced them, but despite my best efforts have never really gotten a good tune for them. My latest effort was the best I've done yet but still not close to what I'd call good.

Wanna stick one on share, so I can have a quick go?? I'm pretty much decided on cars, as Hami has already said, I'm not sure there's going to be a huge difference between rally cars. Just going to test some French piece of crap, aftger having spent a few hours yesterday with Essex's finest. Loved every minute...

{Cy}

EDIT: Cancel that, I've got 3 of each, all 0/0/0, sorry...

I'll stick the 5 Maxi Rally car on share in a couple minutes. Just worked up the courage to try it. Despite its best efforts to toss me off the mountain I managed a glacially slow 2:26.XXX.
Someone might be able to do something with it on another track but on Eiger G Trail (Reverse) the long hill just kills it and with the rear end wanting to go any direction except the way you want to go its just 🤬!:ill:

Ermahgerd..!! Managed a two twenty something, I'm sure it can be tamed, but my Essex wide boy could be capable of sub two minutes in better hands than mine.

I've already found both cars in my warehouse, sorry xDee. I'll muscle on with the rally version and see what I can do, before looking at the road going beastie...

This Maxi rally tune sounds very interesting to me. I sure hope I'll have time to make it in as a tuner :nervous:

That'd be great, but one just popped up in my UCD. So I don't need it. Thanks though. I just gotta put some minor finishing touches on the rally version

No bounty needed, just a driver.
I haven't tried them but it sounds like fun.

If anyone has the Toyota CELICA GT-FOUR (ST205) ‘98 they can spare that would be very helpful. Thanks
