It's the 2 tunes, 1 being rally that's holding me at bay atm.
Surely a rally tune will take me longer, and it's 2 tunes. I'm still not saying I can't, just that I'm not going to sign up until I know I can.
I have gotten a 2:07.xx on G Trail Reverse, don't know if that's good or not.
At Eiger I think I had a 1:11.xx or something can't quite remember that one.
So god awful at both of these tracks. I'm running 1.14's and 2.08's but with errors and bumps and whatnot.
How did you get a 1:11 on the short track. Man that is a good time. Can't wait to drive your tune.
Okay, a quick try at tuning for the rally and I have come to this conclusion.... I suck!!!! One green lap of 2:25.xxx is all I can do I'm pretty sure I hit every wall, stalled the car up the hill, and made the locals very angry with my landscaping of the countryside . With the extra week I will try and get a tune, but I would like to say sorry in advance to all the testers... oh crap that includes me
1:11 was just off the top of my head, It probably wasn't 1:11 lol. I will check again when I get some time.
I was really busy with at work last week so never got a chance to play GT5, but I should be able to get on it this week so the tuner deadline extension is very helpful for me, Thank you.
My car stubbornly refuses to go below 1.14. Struggling to even get that at times.
Now i have my car waiting me to write it down in theard but iam so scary from the comment i will recive it on my car she is very slow, old and not competitve with the car here because i choose the hard way Clueless roll so what i will say my car runing 02:17.xxx in Rally road and for the street car its runing 01:15.xxx . So what ever the extra point she will earn it when enter by it i will lose it in the lap time . What i will do ? I will take the risk or change my car and start from the begining or what ??
I am at 2:01 with the rally tune and 1:14 with my street tune. I don't think there is anything more to gain with the rally tune.
I don't think that PD spent much time programming rally. I honestly think that they just made dirt tires one notch less grippy than comfort hard tires and changed the look of the racing surface.
Still having a major issue with my tunning . I may just have to be a tester for this one

Motor City HamiSent you a PM with some tips. If those don't get you pointed in the right direction then pick a car that you think will kill us just to torture the testers. I dare you to enter the Blue Bird.
Yes! A 1.13.8xx! Really struggling with the stupid thing though, damn that understeer...
Thanks for the tips. I'll try them later today.
I tried the Bluebird. Great time and handling, untill the hill climb top speed was around 35-40mph
I forgot about the scoring you have set up. I feel a little better know
Finally, a 1:13.989! I can run 114.0s all day long, but just can't find more corner speed with this 4wd. How do you guys get these 4wds to go so fast? Where is Roj when I need him?
In a FR car you don't want to break the rear end loose when cornering because your trying to maintain traction and accelerate out of the turns. With a 4wd you can let the rear end slip out a lot more, as long as you have it set up right, because the front end will help pull you through and accelerates you similar to a FF.Finally, a 1:13.989! So many tuners try to set up 4wd cars to handle like FRs and a lot of drivers claim that's what they want, but really if you want to get the best out of most of them you need to tune and drive them to take advantage of their drivetrain instead of neuttering it.
Mine isn't 4WD.
It's FWD.
I'm going to pull out of this one sorry guys, don't have the time to play GT5.

While I'm not saying you don't need to try and get a quick rotating car that grips through the corners, the way you drive a 4wd will be a bit different as you can usually be a bit more aggressive on corner entry and then use the power going to all four wheels to get you pointed where you want and accelerating quickly.
