F.I.T.T. Rally and Street Tuner Challenge by MCH

Down to mid-2'03s and 1'15.2s with my weapons of choice. My tarmac tune is giving me more headache than dirt, which I did not expect. :odd: I haven't messed with the trans yet but I just can't get it to turn. :crazy:

Same here actually, my tarmac tune is giving me the same grief. My dirt driving is appalling, so no idea about times, I've just tuned it so it feels good to drive. :lol:

Same here. My tarmac tune is giving me unexpected challenges. I think it has to do with the downhill nature of the switch backs on the Eiger short track. I cannot break the back end of my 4wd loose, no matter how hard I try.

I haven't messed with the trans yet but I just can't get it to turn.

"Messing with" the tranny might help with the rotation problem you're experiencing. Never underestimate the power of 'choose your torque' when it comes to attitude adjustment.

Can't wait to drive these. I think your ballast weight may be a bit high. You added 1000kg at -50 position. That's one heavy car.
 
Tonight, I had to remind myself of my core tuning rule. "If suspension changes, up or down, large or small produce no handling or lap time change, then the tuning problem to be solved is with the LSD, not the suspension." Found another half second and now have a more fun car to drive.

Good choices. I didn't get to test those. I did try out the Focus Rally and Focus RS. Really liked the RS, but didn't spend enough time with the Rally.

Can't wait to try these.

With only seven tunes (14 cars) do we still need to create groups A and B? I plan to test all tunes, but do all of the tuners want to do that?
 
I reckon leave it split, if folks wanna test both groups they always have that option.

(Also, I'm looking forward to seeing how your revolutionary new scoring system goes!)
 
Just got a g27, been tearing apart my old lap times and having a blast with no abs. Havnt checked in here for awhile but its good too see that your tuning setups are still practically identical to mine, crazy toe and all. Ill give any setups i see in here a few laps.

Let's do this. Group A will be rally cars. Group B will be street cars. This way, if someone only has time to do seven cars, not 14, we get more feedback across all drivers in one class of cars. And, no need to do the test driver rankings from Arcade mode. Just pick Rally, Street or both. Plus, if someone who signed up to test all cars is running short on time at the tester deadline, get one set done and turned in.

I updated the tuner list with those who responded to my PM. Other test drivers, please let me know which group(s) you would like to test. Thanks.

So...I will have my cars up tonight and hopefully have the tunes posted as well. I need to snap my eye candy first. :P I don't think either is going to be real fast but hopefully they will be fun.

As for testing, I will be doing all of the cars on both tracks. 👍 FRs will be sent to tuners and testers.
 
My cars both on share if any one want take them in tour but i didn't upload yet the tune later i will do . But this two car iam not happey of the tune of them but you will enjoy them . take them for a tour not to make lap time . Thanks

Finally felt good enough to do a little tuning...
Got my Rally car down in the mid 2:03s and hope to be able to shave a little more off that.:crazy::D

Definitely having more of a headache getting the handling I want out of the Rally car than the street car but its coming around.:drool:
