It´s been tested over the past few weeks and they confirmed a few days ago that´s done and you´ll have to wait until Sony and Microsoft release it for their consoles.

Update: The team have been hard at work and as a result we have now completed all internal testing on the patch.

The patch is now in submission with Microsoft and Sony for all 3 platforms, and once this process has been successfully completed the patch will be released, ready for you to download. Keep an eye out on the forums, facebook, and twitter, as we’ll let you know as soon as it’s ready to download.

It's got it's problems, of that there is no doubt. But stop being so childish about it.

Yeah tons of games have problems, but by far this is the worst I have ever played. It seems like your playing a game that is still in the testing phase and that is unacceptable.

It seems a handful of people go along with the notion that if something happens regularly enough then thats ok. Just because there are lots of games released these days ridden with bugs it doesnt mean codemasters should be cut any slack. How long has it taken to make, test and release a patch? 3/4 weeks? Why couldnt they have postponed it for that long? Not quality control obviously, but business models.

If it wasnt clear, thumbs up to the comment GranPrix 👍

So, continuing to moan and groan about something you know is being fixed is better? I can see why a lot of developers don't communicate with their so-called "fanbase", it's nothing but being ungrateful for the most part. It has bugs, so what? At least you can play it, and at least they're maintaining constant relations with updates, and even while they were working on the to be released patch they still asked for feedback on any other bugs that may pop up - but that's not good enough, is it? No, let's delay the game and patch problems we probably aren't even aware of and risk introducing an entirely new batch of bugs.

This is always purely a 50/50 situation for me; the fans have a choice to buy the game and enjoy it, and the developers make more money if they make the game to please as many as possible. If players don't like it, don't buy it (or sell it). If developers don't listen to feedback, it won't be as successful (particular future Codemasters releases).

And now I shall complain about something!

Can't believe they're not going to remove the ghost from TT (or stick in an on/off in a menu). It's probably such a quick fix, and so many people have a problem with it. TT is unplayable for me, personally.

Online makes it worthwhile though. But would be extremely beneficial to have a search filter for collisions on/off.

Making the assumption they knew about all the bugs. Again, as stated before, there will have been restrictions on the release date from FOM.

Un - grate - ful ??

Dude, I paid cold hard cash for this game, and it isnt finished! I'm sorry, but however you paint it I feel in my perfectly entitled opinion that I was ripped off somewhat. I dont know what your idea of satisfaction with regards to consumer products is, but this comment made me laugh especially:

Take that out of context, like way out for just a second, and apply it to oh I dont know, ...... Toyota! Quality control is quality control. When the process is skipped the consumer doth pay. In any case, it is not acceptable.

At this point I'm just wondering why you continue to post in this thread. Now Im not trolling, calling you out or whatever, but the only responses you've made are negative towards other people. The game has bugs, its fact! And this is the appropriate thread to vent frustration.

Whats your objection?

I also paid money, and am aware of all the bugs, in fact, I've reported several of them - I've also reported several general inconsistencies within the game. As I've said to another person in another thread: just because I don't complain about every little thing doesn't mean I'm unaware of them.

You could also apply that logic to the Ferrari F50, 458 Italia, and the list could literally go on - and what happened as a result? The vehicles were either recalled or just repaired (most likely recalled though). I'll assume you had the same problems with other games that have had bugs but alternatively never had them alleviated, or even acknowledged? You do realize that before digital distribution took way bug-ridden, glitch-ridden, and exploit-ridden games were either ignored or subsequently re-released which either "forced" you to purchase the game all over again, or just not play it?

Also, you may want to go through the thread in it's entirety before assuming the only responses I've made were negative. Which, to be honest, I don't even see any negativity in anything I've said.

The simple fact of the matter is even if CM wanted to delay the game, they couldn't. Why? Because they're in a contractual agreement with FOM...and we all know how antsy FOM (and the FIA) are when it comes to managing their property.

Generally your post makes sense, but thinking people should be 'grateful' is pretty odd. When a customer is sold something defective, he doesn't need to be grateful to the person who sold it to him for fixing it.

I never said you had to be grateful for a buggy game, yes, I did mention being 'ungrateful' in the same breath, but that was merely in the generality of things. What kind of nonsense is that? Being grateful for a buggy game - who do you think I am?

What I meant by being ungrateful (in a sense) is the game is here, which is more than you can say for two originally scheduled games, one being perfectly excusable, the other just bordering on 'whatever'. It's here, the problems have been acknowledged, and they're continuing to ask for any feedback to make the game better. People complain about a lack of communication between the user-base and the developers these days, but when you get it it's the exact reverse - they should have delayed it, or we shouldn't have to tell them to fix their game because we paid for it. It's almost as if no matter what the positive is, some will always attempt to outweigh it with the negative. That's not directed toward anywhere here, but as I've said somewhere else (or was it around here somewhere?) people need to make up their mind, or just hush.

^agreed^ If it doesn't come out before blackops comes out, i prob won't be playing this for quite some time. Black ops will keep me busy until GT5 comes out and the idk lol This game has given me more frustration than Dirt 2. There are so many little things that bug me in this game. A new one is jamming the steering wheel one way and the car continues straight.... Does't seem right to me lol I will be getting my DFGT within the next 2 weeks so im hoping things will be better with that upgrade to start.

Meh, yet another Call of Duty... They're all the same anyway. I'll still have the original CoD kthxbye.

It's just a simple patch that'll take minutes to download, you're talking like it's a whole new game coming out. I don't think i'll be getting Black Ops until Christmas.

Well I played MW2 quite a bit, but hated it, it was just fun to play with friends. This game seems balanced and pretty unique. I am a fan of FPS's. If Gt5 would be in my hands next tuesday I'd prob never get BOps lol

Considering I only paid $8 for F1, I will probably keep it through the patch, but I really hope it isn't a flop.

lol really? lol

Erm...Its called locking up? lol some people complain about anything and everything it seems...even if its them at fault and not the game!

PRoblem with locking up, rather than complain about it like all of the Codemasters forum, and call the game unrealisic, turn brake pressure to low, and it won't be a problem again.

:odd: I never lock up the wheels under braking. The only time I did was when I had a puncture.

I've found that you only lock up either if you try to turn into a corner too quickly while still braking or if you keep your foot planted to the brake pedal without modulating it on the way off.

I mean with foot mashed on the gas. After watching a lot of RL F1 videos, its just seems like the game doesn't have the same grip physics. Most other things seem pretty amazing to me.

Oh I agree. But the single player for MW2 was pretty impressive to me. It was just very cinematic, But completely too short.

Wonder if Codemasters can patch my TV -_-. F1 2010 is sitting there, calling me, crying to be played and there's nothing I can doo :(

I would not want them too. I think they would half-az it and only half the screen would work :P

Ah, well, good for you. I'm miles away from home now, and won't be back until Sunday night.

It's only been released for the PS3 so far, and only in the UK. No word on the US patch for all three platforms. It is rolling out, so it's just a matter of time now.

Hazaah for the patch! A car pulled out of pit lane while I was beginning a flying lap and... it yielded for me!
