F1 2015!F1 2010-2016

Game looks better and better, but sadly when you look at it compared to PCARS you're getting a lot less value for money.

Does F1 2015 still have offline multiplayer (splitscreen)? I've searched everywhere I can and still found no information about it being included or dropped.

FS7
I don't think so, I remember somebody complaining about lack of split-screen multiplayer in F1 2015 in the official CM forums.
That sucks. Even worse is that this is a Codemasters game so they'll probably never add it back in even though it's fairly popular 👎

Has anybody seen this yet?

Looks great already, even though the Ego Engine might feel a bit dated.
The video is locked, so I have no idea if it will play here.

What a surprise, FOM being FOM

If you click on the title and play it from YouTube, it works. Makes no sense to me why FOM blocks sharing, more views equals more money.

Because they won't want people using it to generate revenue for themselves. Say I run a website that has paid advertising. I post the video in that format, which sees an increase in visitors, making my website more lucrative for advertisers. Therefore, I can earn more money from it. But posting the video - even on YouTube - does not guarantee any revenue for the brand; it generates interest in the game, but that does not directly translate into sales.

Inside Sim Racing had wheel impressions, albeit on the Mad Catz Xbone wheel but still, he was extremely impressed and put it in the pCars category for how it felt.

That's good to hear. The Formula A was the first car i drove on pCars and really liked how it felt, so that's promising.

This game lands next week, why has there been so little marketing around it? Usually Codemasters are all over the F1 coverage but I've barely heard a whisper

Probably they'll ramp up ads during this weekend's Silverstone GP. In any case, it's not a good sign. They could be so low on money that they can't spend it on advertising, or they are not confident in the game and doesn't want to overhype it too much.

Or they know that it's a relatively niche game and don't think that a blanket advertising campaign will be effective - after all, we don't get much advertising down here, especially not in televised media. Most of the advertising that I have seen for video games has either been at or near the point of sale, on YouTube, or on the sides of buses. And only a handful of games get advertised. The handful of televised ads for video games tend to be targeted; for example, racing games during V8 Supercars.

A high-visibility multi-media advertising campaign is large and expensive. And for its target market, Formula 1 is at the point of brand saturation - Codemasters could spend one dollar or one million dollars on advertising, but the target audience will not be any more aware of the brand.

I'm starting to like the look of the game now, despite my reservations initially. The lack of build up by codemasters is odd but I reckon we are in for a bit of a surprise when we play it.

Also here is a video of a race ending crash:

Wow, that is far more violent then what I've usually seen in the previous games. Definitely not what I want to try on a full motion simulator
