Having previously enjoyed McLaren's state of the art simulator facility, Perez was not impressed by Force India's centre.

Maybe it was a month without racing that did it. Maybe it was one too many cans of Hype. Or maybe it was the exhaustion of constantly answering questions about his future - but between the black-and-yellow tape and the R shape of the circuit, Sergio Pérez was sure that someone was sending him subliminal messages.

After studying Pirelli's latest model, Perez isn't convinced that the best solution to potential tyre failures is to carry an extra pair on the back of the car.

Little does Sergio know that he is secretly testing the new RC controls, next year his job will be outsourced to India and he'll be replaced by a guy named Sanjay.

"This Portable Gymkhana kit is atrocious... Where are the "Bye Bye Button" smash targets I was promised?"

"Hey, if you think our test track is good, wait until you see the wind tunnel. I'll just go and see if the engineers have fired up the leaf blower."

Sergio was unimpressed by the Vatican City's new portable Grand Prix circuit.

For Sergio, winning a race is still a remote possibility.

Despite all the hype , Perez did not find Force India's new low-budget facilities even remotely funny.

After stomping on his rivals' cars and taking their lunch money, the way was clear for Cheeky Checo.
