Spaniard is in old english what you now know as a Spanish. It's used in the same way to call English, Britons. So as not to call them by their language, get it?

Spaniard is used instead of spanish when you have an A in front of it.

ex: He's Spanish. (Correct.)
He's a Spanish. (Incorrect)

In this case, you'd say:

I don't see how being rich and living in the Canary Islands relate, but no, I am not rich. I am actually unemployed. Or at least not employed by anyone other than myself... I work freelance.

I've only seen one Real Madrid match, but that was in Madrid, which is about 2 1/2 hours from here by plane. The match was against Atlético de Madrid, and RM won by 2-0 I think. On the other hand, I used to live in Buffalo, NY (USA) and I did get to go to about 6 or 7 Bills' and Sabres' games

And lastly, I don't think you'll want to move to Spain. I've been here less than two years and already wanto to leave!

My friend lived in Europe for a year, mostly in Portugal. But he got to travel through 20 countries there or so, and Sevilla was the place he liked the most. He stood there for a week only though.

Just one more off-topic instance... Sevilla is nice, but hot as hell in the summer. Median temperature is about 43º. iIn 2004 they reached a record high of 57º. That's one good thing about living here, temps don't venture too much into the higher numbers. We may get one or two heat waves where the temps rise like crazy (anywhere between 35 and 50º), but mostly it's around 27º in the summer and 15º in the winter.

Besides, we're going off-topic since Bee hasn't posted neither the leaderboard or a new picture.
