Um, can be have someone clear up the rules about using additional pictures? I now that occasionally someone will use an extra shot to develop the punch line, but half a dozen people have used the same picture, which isn't one of the "official" picture and without it, there isn't really much of a punch line to any of them.

I’m not aware of a specific rule concerning “edits” of the official picture entry.

I feel sorry if this is causing a mess or something, as I originally (from a time perspective) linked both pictures. I knew well the Hamilton shot was not part of the game, but somehow believed Kimi’s and Lewis’s rather expressive faces could be easily linked/opposed together. This was as spontaneous as it was fortuitous, and should have been considered as a wink to orimarc’s freshly (by the time) dismissed proposal.

While in the the end it’s up to every voting member to consider if a quote is worth it or not, I can see how erratic posting could ruin this great thread, so should this be considered a problem (right now our for the future), feel free to withdraw my entry. Hopefully I can get another one by the end of this round.👍

I now that occasionally someone will use an extra shot to develop the punch line, but half a dozen people have used the same picture, which isn't one of the "official" picture and without it, there isn't really much of a punch line to any of them.

Firstly, not having a go at anyone here, but this is why I don't want anyone but me posting pictures during the season, (barring huge gaps between races) as it gets confusing.

Secondly and more relevantly, I don't mind people using other pictures (feel free, it is often quite funny). However, I will say that if people re-use the same "additional" photo, they aren't likely to get votes, it's not being very individual with your humour, is it if 3 people use the same extra photo?

If you've got some more queries on this, reply. I'm away all next weekend, so I shall tie up the captions tonight, and get voting ready for Friday morning. So, if you can finish your captions within 5 hours or so from this post.

You might have me to blame for that. I remember posting a picture of Barrichello that was intended for some purpose or another that escapes me. Then somebody (and I'm pretty sure I know who) missed the point and strted captioning it.

And then there was that other time that I posted a picture of The Piquets! simply because it had my best cation ever and was unlikely to be used for the upcoming round. It won't happen again. Not unless it's really, really epically funny (which, when you're me, can be used to describe all of my captions).

I get that, but I was more concerned with the idea that people are misinterpreting the posting of the Hamilton pictrue as being a part of the round. Like you said, if they just keep using it over and again, no-one is going to vote for them (but, as previously established, no-oe is going to vote for them anyway because of all he funny in my captions).

Well if people read they'll know the Hamilton pic isn't part of this round. I don't see any problem in other pics being posted between rounds just so we can have some fun. I don't see any problem in using these pics togheter with the official ones on your entries. If it's funny it will get votes, if it isn't then nay.

Punishment : Immediate Disqualification, but due to your co-operation the WMSCC has suspended the sentence for two years.
