Well, yes it does, it gives everyone a fair deadline to get their entries in. I don't think people would like it if I randomly go "Ok we've had 1 entry, how about I post up the results?".

I think Wednesday and Saturday is fine.

But this has been going since last Wednesday. Why not have a new one that will now run till Saturday? Otherwise we will have had this pic for a week, and the next pic will be for 3 days.
