Now why would you want to do that? Don't tell me you're also turning into one of those.. I hope it's in jest because it's exactly the type of thing that would turn off any potential Fanatec customer.

I am just giving people an idea to win a prize. Thomas would like it maybe. The T500 is a good wheel for a great price in my opinion, especially after the price drop this year. Though I would like to see a couple if reliability fixes on it. Like a redesigned top cover with bigger and quiter fan with more air displacement, as to better cool the big motor and electronics (I keep smelling my T500 after a lap on the Nordschleife), and improved mounting of the bearings as the plastic holding it all in place tends to give way when micro cracks are in the plastic after the molding process.

And besides, you can hardly compare the wheels when keeping in mind the price ranges they live in. Apples and peers. I just had to compare it to something in my review so that people could get an idea of where it stands. Unfortunately I never was fortunate enough to try a Frex or ECCI wheel.

I also did the same thing, If I win ill give my G27 to someone from luelinks w , and he will give his DFGT to another one of my friends who has no wheel.

Thomas we're creating more sim racers here, should win on merit.

I don't think it was expected, I received an email a couple of hours ago (10:00 AM CEST) from Fanatec tech support informing me that the site would be back up later today so I can finish submitting an RMA.

The post I remember seems to be gone now. It had a girl sitting in the middle of a room holding a sign that said something about not cleaning and no money or whatever. But can't find it now, maybe in another post?

I put mine in Fanatec's photos, but seems many people are putting theirs in that original post. So I posted in there too.

I think that person got called out on the picture. They stated they were a girl when indeed the posters profile on GT planet had them listed as male.

So what time is the site going to be live?

The original time was 12.00 (mid-day) German time, so 11.00 here in the UK.

Tomorrow at 12.00 German time (CEST) we are opening our new website on www.Fanatec.com and at the same time our new ClubSport wheel and ClubSport Pedals V2 will be on sale.

I read the new time as 12.00 UTC/GMT so that is 13.00 UK time and 14.00 German time?

Am I reading it wrong, of am I getting myself confused!? I just want to order the CSW & Formula rim!

The time is the same.

German (summer) time = UTC +2hrs = GMT (Greenwich Mean Time) +2hrs = CEST (Central European Summer Time)

I'm just getting muddled as the first announcement said 12.00 German time, yet the second says 12.00 UTC/GMT +2. That too me then means it'll be 14.00 German time.
 
How long does anyone predict until the first batch is gone?.... How many are in the first batch?.... I think I heard there were more pedals than wheels made but I'm not sure where or if I heard that correctly, since I'm just going to try to get the pedals now and the wheel another time

GMT is Greenwich Mean Time. Greenwich is a district of South London. Central Europe (or the main land including: Netherlands, Belgium, France, Germany, etc) is one hour ahead of Greenwich. So that makes GMT+1. However, since we are in Summer and have something like Summertime we shift the clock one hour forward, which makes it GMT+2.

I wish people would just stick to one timezone system in the world and get rid of summer time. It would make it a lot easier to grasp for everyone.
 
You're guess is as good as anyone's. Thomas has been pretty tight lipped about their exact stock numbers.

I'm sure the wheels will sell out within a few minutes of the site going live. Pedals, who knows, probably the same though.
