There is no Clubsport rim. There is a Clubsport base with a Formula rim and a BMW GT rim. The CSR-Elite base has an upcoming Formula rim. Which of these do you have?

As I said in my orginal post I'm using CSR Elite Formula Rim not the Clubsport Formula rim.

Just mail your Beta testing contact (Thomas or Armin I reckon) to get it in PS3 mode. Or else just try every available two button combination. lol

ps. I am sure the NDA would read something about not going public or something. Just a hint. ;)

I did as it happens, they didn't have a graphics schematic to show me on layout and with me working this weekend I thought I'd ask on here.

Very cool that you can test the CSRE formula rim! I have the CSW formula rim and it looks identical to the CSRE formula rim. I love the feel of the formula rim. I am getting the CSW GT rim today so I finally can compare the two rims.

Have you tried watching the vid for the Formula rim for the CSW base? The rim in the pic with that "finger guy" (go vettel!) LOL makes the CSRE Formula rim look the same as the Formula rim for the CSW base. There were some images floating around of the CSW Formula rim button layout and numbering, but I cannot find it.
Fanatec really needs to up their game with regards to product info sheets for their products (at least for the CSW and CSPV2).

The same layout would make sense from a production standpoint. Why make a completely different rim and connection adapter for two wheels when Fanatec can use the same rim and adapt the connector to each base.

A guy at iRacing said that Fanatec send him an email last Tuesday (21 August) that his springs were being shipped to him (the poster lives in Europe).

I have not received any type of email saying the springs were shipping. Fanatec acknowledged my broken shifter paddle spring 14 days ago and said the springs were going out "very soon." Has anyone with a broken shifter paddle on their CSW Formula rim received an email that Fanatec is mailing the new springs?
thanks!
:)

I am still waiting on my Torsion Spring also......Until I receive the torsion spring . I went to the local hardware store and found a torsion spring that was almost the same size. Its works for the time being. All the spring does is position the paddle off the switch .

Just had a confirmation email from Fanatec that my Formula rim (previously on back-order) is being shipped shortly! 👍 :)

Got my csw base and bmw rim in today. Got it all mounted up and the firmware updated and then raced for about 4 hours with it tonight. I'm liking it so far. I'm coming from a csr elite and I agree with some others that talked about the FFB being a little weaker on the csw because of the bigger heavier rim. It's true I can't feel some of the minor bumps and stuff like that I could with the elite, but the csw is still a better wheel I think. I've still got to do some more testing with all the settings, but i think I can get it to feel even a little better than it is now. The feedback and rotation does feel a bit smoother and my elite had a little shaft play and the csw has none. I'll be ordering the formula rim shortly since now it looks like they are back in stock, but even using the bmw rim on cars like the hpd and f1 on iracing it was still great and fun to drive. Didn't ever feel like the bigger wheel was holding me back. Even with the FFB not as strong in some areas I'm still running the same times I was yesterday with the elite so it's not a hindrance at all. I've even dropped half a second at spa earlier compared to the past couple of days. I think it's due to the paddle shifters having a shorter throw than the elite so I can downshift a little faster allowing me to brake a little bit later.

Just make sure FFB and Vibration are set to 100 in the tuning menu. Then you should play around with the Force setting and see what feels right. Some games require a relatively significant increase in this setting (in order to get a strong feel in the wheel). Also, if the game has the option make sure to turn up the more nuanced effects like rumble strips and steering vibration.

Yeah I got everything like the ffb and force settings to 100. I've been messing around with it some today and after some more research about ffb in general on the iracing forums I've got it feeling a little better. On iracing the only thing you can adjust in game is the dampening which I have on 0 and the force feedback. IN the last update they have it where you can adjust linear ffb in the game files now but I haven't messed with any of that yet.

I forgot to add in my first post. Does anyone else's wheel not stop at center on pc at start up? When I start the wheel it does it's normally rotation but it stops at about 90 degrees or so to the left and doesn't come back to center. I updated to the new 032 firmware right I first hooked it up and then centered the wheel afterward. When I go and look in the driver it shows the wheel at center when I bring it there manually after start up and it works fine in game so I guess it's not a big deal but didn't know if anyone else has this issue.

they say it's normal if a profile with spring at 0 is selected, i hope they update firmware, it should be not so difficult to override actual selected profile when wheel start.

^^^^^Speaking of which, any idea what a barely used CSW Elite should go for (USD), and the best place to sell it (Ebay, etc...?) Mine is gathering dust since getting the CSW and I should get off my lazy butt and turn it into cash instead...

I would say 10% off of list maybe less. Demand is still pretty high.

The best places are probably sim racing communities, so probably here, Inside Sim Racing, Fanatec Wheel Fan Site, etc. Places where people understand the value of the equipment for sale.

I just sold the T500 on ebay to change over to an Elite and a set of csp v2's..........Not be selling on there again. 21 days until the funds go into my account. Pity your in the US I'd of bought your Elite!

Just finished setting up my CSP V2. Great feel, superb built quality and great performance, just have to get used to the load cell ^^
Also I installed the 750B firmware on my Elite.
The low speed FFB feels much better and the force of center spring and FFB increased a lot.
Any news on the wheel rim for the Elite ?? I'm too lazy to build something on my own.
C'mon Thomas throw us a bone ;)

Hello Does anybody know what is the deadline for Fanatec deliver your products in stock in the U.S. (NY)?

Hello Does anybody know what is the deadline for Fanatec deliver your products in stock in the U.S. (NY)?

Deadline? It usually takes about a week from order confirmation to delivery. Do not forget the holiday. Sometimes it takes a bit longer 8-9 days.

Thank you very much for your information.
I haven’t had Fanatec’s products until now. Nowadays I have a Logitech G27.
I’m Brazilian. I will go to NY on 10/October this year and I intend to buy a CSW base with both wheels and CSP v2. But, I have afraid to buy Fanatec’s products, because in Brazil there isn’t FANATEC Community/ Support Agent. It's too complicate.
