I think it just needed more power. I have Fanatec default settings, (I had not messed with 5-3) on the F1 wheel, with lower GT6 settings. I will have to edit for numbers later. (1, 3 low I think) Lap six in the pits @ seasonal DRC.

I have been ignored by customer service since initial contact through the website. I used the reply to email feature as requested. I'll be sure and say hi to everyone here in "Coventry".

That's very strange. I had a response to my E-mail within 24 hours. The online LIVE chat works well too, I used it once while my wheel was at the repair center and they were very helpful and responded immediately.

When looking at my own video I realize that the wheel does not hit the stop at the same angle on the right and the left. If you check the two bottom buttons position relative to screws you can see that there is a little difference. But it is not a big deal for me, my wheel is fantastic and I have never hit the stop while racing.

anyon here with ozone have advice on mounting csw v2 base? i want to try mounting it without the angled bracket first

i would try all the different configurations, no plate, plate on lowest point, etc. since everyones preference is different, and then theres also reverse mounting.

Depending on which version of the obutto you got, reverse mounting can be pretty simple using the existing bolts on the rig.

epic rig lazjet!

my man cave is pretty much complete, just need an xbone wheel and hopefully ps4 wheel for when gt7 comes out.

Still need to adjust my monitors to get to the angle height i want them to sit. These mounts are a pain to adjust properly -_-

Running GT6 in game FFB down to 1 (ONE). On Wheel For at 20. There is still notchy coggyness. This wheel is clearly defective and cs won't help me. At wits end.
Iam sorry to worry any one waiting on delivery of theirs. My o/h has offered to buy me a new one on the grounds that I couldn't possibly get 2 defective units in a row, could I? There's seems to be no alternative.

I'll just leave this final thought here : Purchase History : PWTS, CSP V1, Pedal Tuning Kit, CS Shifter Paddles, H-Pattern & Sequential Shifters, Coloured pedals, Carbon Formula Rim, CSW B V2, Future Purchases : XboxOne Rim?, PS4 Rim?,

The GT6 FFB may give big impulses that are not always realistic. On the straight of Circuit de la Sarthe it is very violent. Is this that behavior that you call coggyness? Or do you feel all the time a lot of very small impulses ?

GT6 I,m @ 1,4 in game, FF 90 and FOR 80. GT6 cars have trouble tracking straight and some sections of track are almost like a washboard road.

I am afraid that it is the way GT6 ffb is working, not the wheel. Some tracks-cars are very smooth, some are strange and violent.

So basically gt6 on ps3 with the clubsport v2 wheel is no good?.... hmmm pc build may be happening sooner then later

I would not say that, the CSW V2 is the best GT6 wheel (I had a G25, a CSR Elite and now a CSW V2). Sometimes depending of tracks/cars it feels strange, but the amount of different behaviors and the way you feel differences between cars is reaaly interesting. You have to really learn and adapt to a lot of different driving style. I like that a lot.

Piece of paper on bottom of Base, Poke 3 holes, Transfer holes to wheel plate and drill. Easy peezy. Stock angle bracket flexes pretty good. I DO not suggest using it. M8 hardware if im remembering right.

yeah i end up mounting it with the bracket cus, without, its pointing slightly downwards. next, i have to mount the shifter. its a bit too high with the default obutto shifter mount. i saw another guy on this forum sliced off the end and welded the sheet so he could mount it that way and it would be lower. I dont have the tools for that though , heh.

i cut and welded mine

my original idea for mounting the shifter was using the clubsport shifter clamp, it should lower it enough. Another person also cut it before the bend and mounted it like that eliminating the L shape part of the shifter bracket and that required no welding.

in iRacing, you guys use linear mode? I have been driving with linear mode off and it makes the steering soo heavy, I guess because it amplifies the effects if you uncheck linear ffb.

I've played both ways, I preferred non-linear with my Thrustmaster wheels because it firmed up the wheel around the center. For my Fanatec CSW v2, I haven't decided which way I like best, however you will have to adjust the FFB force depending on whether you use linear or non-linear. Using non-linear, you will use less force than linear otherwise you will get clipping sooner. Just use the in-game clipping tool to set the FFB for linear or non-linear. Biggest difference between the two when both are setup correctly is that non-linear will give a firmer feel around the center.

I just got an email for the CSW V2 US invite code. I'm unable to use it and it expires on March 5th. If anyone is interested, send me a PM. First come, first serve.

Edit: 3:10PM EST: Code has been claimed.
