My ClubSport Pedals are to arrive any day now and am very excited:drool:
Is there any calibration stuff I need to do to pedals before using them with GT5 or FM4.
Can you recommend best brake settings for above games please.

At the moment with my G25 pedals and PWTS I use the ABS setting to rumble the wheel on braking.
My question is does the pedal AND the wheel rim vibrate/rumble under braking when the ABS is set?

Yes, both vibrate at the same time.

I personally did not change anything in GT5 to play with the CSP (just adjusting the potentiometer in the brake to fit my personal preferences using the ingame telemetry).

So the clubsport brake pedal works 100% with GT5 straight out of the box, and then I adjust the brake potentiometer to suit.
Can you recommend a starting point for the brake potentiometer, would right in the middle be ok, or more or less?
I'm sure once i'm hands on with the pedals I'll figure out all my adjustability options.
Would just like my very first impressions of using the pedals to be as best as could be :sly:
Thanks

Decided to go with the CSR Elite pedals , CSR Wheel and CSR Shifter. It's all I could afford right now. It a major upgrade compare to my Logitech Driving Force Pro.

This has most likely been posted but incase it hasnt.... ISR reckon the CSR wheel is the best to date.

I just wish Darrin Gangi was there. I still got a bone to pick with Fanatec for messing up the show. Just feels so weird just seeing Darrin in the background being all quiet. :grumpy:

I highlighted the part I am confused about. Does he mean the best wheel ever which includes my glorious t500rs wheel along with all the other wheels or does he just mean the best wheel for xbox 360? I meant to ask him for clarification on the boards. Just makes no sense too me he would say that when we all know CSW is going to be amazing. Atm, that was a very confusing review all the way and it's obvious the show is taking a bad turn w/o Darrin heading up wheel reviews

Plus no Jessica and no Tommy Haake (did he resign?). Anyway I'll head of there to make my voice heard just seeing this link reminded me (I saw the vid awhile ago when posted at virtualr)

If I can't manage left foot braking with the clubsports comfortably I may also have to get the CSR Elite pedals.

Clubsports for when driving road cars and using the clutch and H Shifter.

Then arrange the CSR Elite pedals (they can be removed from base?) for left foot braking to a base panel that I can swap them out with the clubsports at any time for race cars and F1 style driving 💡

CSPs use all load cells, no pots I'm confused? maybe a csp owner can shed some light for ya

It is so easy to adjust just try it. I started at 100% and ended up at maybe 40%. It is just personal preference.

simply copy & pasted from the PREVIOUS page. Please read other pages people so the same stuff does not have to be answered over and over.........

Does the CSR Elite pedals supports the vibration like the Clubsport pedal ?

It does not. also has potentiometer base for clutch & gas, while CSP's use contact-less sensors. Also, Elite's have some base plastic/rubber components, while CSP's are All formed or machined aluminum.

EDIT: Both have LOAD CELL brake, CSP has contact-less sensors for gas and brake, elites have pot's.

Hope this helps!

For the extra $50 you pay for CSPs over CSR Elite pedals you apparently get a whole lot for your money. I'm thinking bout just ordering myself some CSPs to use with my t500rs. Then later I will make my decision do I want to get a wheel for fm 4. Played the demo and had great fun. But just not sure if I want to unload a bunch of money on another wheel just yet

Still curious to see if there maybe some more surprises in store with the CSR Elite. I want to see how it stocks up to other wheels, etc.

To me it sounded like the best wheel on any platform right now to buy.

I assume he means that it is an excellent wheel and the best with xbox compatibility. Also we can guess he is testing FM4, so compatibility is probably the compelling reason for putting it on his rig.

At least that is how I read it.

Zoo, you're only a few hours South of me. And we ordered the same day.
I emailed the usa customer service address yesterday and I got my tracking number in a reply from them this morning. I haven't gotten my tracking info in an official Fanatec Direct email yet.

Good Luck

Alright, thanks for the heads up man. This leaves hope. Do you have the email for customer service by any chance?

Yeah during my fiasco (read Fanatec Customer Support post) I got e-mailed a tracking number. Looks like they got sent out yesterday so we will get our stuff next week sometime I guess.

Wow. That is some ordeal. Well, looks like you and I are yet more victims of Endor Customer Service.

You would really think they could at least have a small customer service center in the Western Hemisphere to cover North and South America, possibly even Australia.

Hopefully they make it here next week. I swear they are doing the shipping by alphabetical order of last names and not time of order. I always get screwed by this. Otherwise I should have been one of the first to receive a tracking number.

Regardless, can't wait to get my CSR and Elites. Expect a video review / gameplay footage from me as soon as I get them.

Edit: Well, either a coincidence or immediate response from Endor I received my tracking number; the package was shipped yesterday.

So, if anyone else has not received your tracking number just email: webshop.usa@endor.ag

Yep, looks like my next wheel is gonna be the CSR elite with the F1 hub for sure. Now I just gotta come up with the money. lol

The only formula style rims available right now are for the csw and the thrustmaster.

Isn't the 2nd video in the first post the CSR? It has the F1 wheel on it.

EDIT: Its the same base as the elite, but they ARE calling it the CSW, too many acronyms. lol

Same base, different colors. I believe the sides of the Clubsport are red and the Elite is all black, or vice versa. Maybe someone can confirm

Oh cool Fanatec has a new ad for the CSR on this site. It looks pretty nice (you might have to logout to view what I'm talking bout btw)

The bases have different electronics in them. They do operate the same and will perform damn near the same im sure.

I logged into my account on the Fanatec webstore and there is a note next to my order # that says "Delivered"? Anyone else notice this on your CSR order?

Note, it still says "Pending" under Order History and I have received an email on Tuesday (with invoice) saying my order was about to ship.

No I got your point clearly. At the price point of the Elite, even if you don't care about add-ons, it's still a better idea to go with something else that gives you more startup options and variety. .

UH no you still missed the point entirely. To someone who doesn't care about the available options the available options are worthless in the mind of that customer. That's like saying the G37 is worst than the IS 350 because it doesn't have available ceramic brakes. If you don't EVER want ceramic brakes that's not a part of your equation. BTW I am not trying to change your personal opinion on anything this is simply a theoretical customer that just likes the CSR-E rim.

Delivered means its being shipped. Dont worry about it, its on its way. 👍

This is awesome!... except, I have to run to work now ARRRRGGH. Anyway I should feel lucky for gettings it so fast. Can't wait to try it once I'm back from work tonight! IT feels awesome and the thing about the plastic tim being low-quality or whatever's just not true, it's solid.

Later!

Dang, my pedals MIGHT be here before FM4 release!👍

ahhh...so the review states that the Fanatec CSR wheel is just a reskinned low-end model Fanatec Turbo S (isn't the PTSW the cheapest Fanatec model?)!
I will skip it and wait for reviews and comments on the CSR Elite. I hope this model is better built and has more options. Hopefully, the CSR elite will be more on par or better than the Fanatec porsche GT2 wheel (assuming the GT2 has better components - does anyone know?).

"The CSR wheel has the same internals as my beloved Porsche Turbo S wheel (hereby referred to as PTSW because it takes less typing). It's powered by a Mabuchi RS550 motor with a pair of extra actuators for more haptic feedback. Because cooling was a potential issue with the PTSW, the vents on the top of the case are larger than before and the fans kick in earlier. This makes the CSR louder than the PTSW."
