It would be great if at least Fanatec answered their email. I am still waiting for a reply regarding the compatibility of the CSR Wheel and the CSR Inversion kit pedal. I can't pre-order the later of their website. It's been 2 days now...

Hey, would you look at that! My order went to "Delivered" too. :D

I ordered just the CSR and it's still 'pending' so either the pedals are shipping or just some of the CSR's are shipping?

So, depening on your order #, you should receive something soon. And, since you are in OR, get it by friday most likely. Bastard! lol I am in PA, so mon-tues for me.

If what I'm saying doesn't apply to your situation or point of view, why wonder about it?

I get and respect where you're coming from. The CSW looks to be good enough to be a disruptive product at the high end. I think the CSR Elite pales in comparison to the CSW.

Some people are talking like the T500 RS has it all over the CSR Elite, and that's where my opinion differs. The T500 RS is cheaper and includes pedals. It's a really nice PS3/PC wheel that undercuts the CSR Elite. The CSR Elite still uses the same mechanical internals of the CSW though. Same overbuilt chassis. Same upgraded belt drive/sensor system. I think those things are clear upgrades over anything in this price class (other than the CSW).

Maybe we'll all be wrong and these new wheels will be terrible. :sly:

Oh, Fanatec just emailed me about my CSR Shifter order. The goods have been processed at the US distributor and will go out today. I'll get a tracking number soon.

My website... 100% part time but the site has grown massively so Darin has offered me.a wheel.

Wow, I'm stumped. A freelance guy sets up a site and company's throw goods at them.

All the best to you for getting that.

Happy Yankees, you!
Shipments have arrived directly from China to the US of A, hence the early delivery...

The wheels were due in Europe (Hamburg?) yesterday - customs, 2 days max, UPS, 2 days max... Week-end 2 days max (!)...

CSR + CSREP + CSR shifter + rennhsport stand the 13th? Isn't it the release date of FM4 to your regular dealer?

=)

Edit _ release date is the 11th... sucks...

You should receive 2 emails. First from Fanatec stating "your order will ship now" Second from UPS with tracking info. The UPS one takes 1-2 days to appear after the Fanatec one.

My order too switched to delivered. Can't wait! CSR shifter set, USA

Thanks for the info.

Well, my brakes go from 55-65%, and its so erratic I cant have a decent go at it either.

I am surpised Fanatec doesnt give a faster shipping option. I know I wouldnt pay for 2 day or overnight, but I can assure there are those that would.

I definitely would.

Update: Just got the same email too, woot! Although I kinda doubt I'll get it on Friday...? Did you also get a tracking number already?

God i really need to avoid this thread. The more I read, the more I want the CSR + CSPs but wife might murder me if I blow all this money this weekend haha

QUESTION to existing CSP owners:

How awesome is that brake vibration feature? Might help my wallet if I were to pick the new CSR Elite pedals over the CSP. Just worried I may regret being 'cheap' in regards to the pedals

sigh, I already know yall's answer. "Get the CSPs you fool!" :ouch:

Maybe I will just get my CSPs now I dont know???!

It's nice. It's a bonus feature. It's not the reason to go ClubSport. You can still set ABS vibration in the CSR wheel rim if you really want it. That overrides other vibration feedback in the rim though. Forza has specific support for the motors in the rim, and it does feel nice. I do think the ClubSport pedals are worth premium for the magnetic sensors and overall build quality. They are tanks.

But isn't it a huge help so the brake vibrates when the tires are about to lockup? Maybe the load cells are the most important thing due to your muscle memory coming into play so you can already feel the brakes will lockup

Thanks for your reply

It's a close call I barely notice the rumble but I like it. I don't know if I $50 like it but then you notice the rest of the build quality. Aluminum sure is pretty.

Yah that was probably not helpful at all. Have fun!

Edit, yah the muscle memory helps a lot more than the rumble.

Exactly. During an intense race I don't consciously notice the ABS vibration, but my foot remembers the brake pressure I need.

Not yet, in a day or 2 you will. Just stinks since I am on East coast, will take 1-3 days longer to get than yours. It is what it is........

Can someone help me out here, Sold my DFGT a while back and now want a multiplat wheel...sadly the cost of the CSR Elite is too much so it's down to...

CRS Wheel
Porsche 911 GT2 Wheel

Are they similar? Do either have any advantages?

Honestly, it boils down to which rim you like more. Supposedly though, as per Thomas, he says the CSR is slightly lighter and easier to move. Obviously, we have yet to hear true customer reviews.

I have a GT2 and can say its worth every penny. Looked @ the CSR, but came to find out it is basically the same as the CSR, minus a few minute details. Take this as you wish, just how I feel. Good luck!

Thomas has updated his blog saying that the containers have arrived in Europe and they will be shipping very soon 👍

The reply I had to an email this morning was that they would start shipping next week.

Do you guys see it shipping earlier than next week for us EU customers, or are we going to be waiting until next week before our ship sets sail? :)

Thanks gtp Plato

No problem:tup:

Just hope they are getting shipped earlier than next week, but the email I had says it won't.

I can't see me getting my order before the 15th as it has to go to UK first to a friends address then shipped to me in the Channel Islands.

Makes no sense that it is going to have to travel an extra 640 kilometers across the English Channel to the UK, when where I live is a lot closer.

I wonder if it has anything to do with the fact that where I come from we don't pay VAT.

Sorry little rant, getting impatient :sly:

Clubsport Wheel ok for GT5 and F1 2011 on PS3 only.
I don't have a gaming PC for games like iRacing.
It's not overkill for games such as these for use just on PS3?:nervous:
I would just love the BMW GT wheel for GT5 and the F1 wheel for all F1 games.

I hope I didn't screw up by calling it an assist (it appeared to be an assist when I made the video, but I've since amended or at least put up a note regarding the apparent reason being it's a change in steering ratio specifically when counter steering.)

Anyway. Fanatec makes great products. In some ways I wish it had been a fault of the wheel because I could have guaranteed that it would be fixed.

The last time something like this happened it was when some fanatecs developed a center sensitivity issue that would cause hitching in FFB and misreads. They patched it in the firmware and completely fixed the issue within 2 weeks of me e-mailing them.

Again, the forza 4 thing is not an issue with the wheel. However it looks like I need to make another video this time focusing on the position of the front wheels as well as the telemetry to identify and clarify the issue cause too many people have taken it to mean a problem with simulated steering rather than an issue specific to wheels at 900 degrees with simulated steering on. I just wish I knew how to or was better at editing and taking videos. I'm crap.

And that's that.

Mines coming on the 7th just before you guys get it... Hopefully I will have reviewed it by next friday at the latest but won't be to sure as i am away this weekend sadly.
