You should have made one of those DIY camera-helmet. And congratulations on receiving your racing gear (was about to say "toy" then it hit me that I might get flamed...).
I wish i had a helmet cam... LOL... deleted video from youtube as I chose 240 p :ouch: so It will be a little later.. I am starting again. 👍

Have you had a chance to pesonally compare the PWTS and the GT2? I see many people state the GT2 is much much better than the PWTS. If they are the same base is the difference in the software? or the build? iirc, Shaun Cole does mention in the CSR review that the wheel has seam due to being built from 2 parts and does not feel as good as it could be. Is this the same approach Fanatec uses on the GT2 and PWTS?

No, I just have the GT2. But the Turbo S is pretty similar except the leather rim. Like I said eariler it all comes down to the Wheel Rim on what you want. Do you like leather, alcantara, or the rubber/alcantara/more race style rim? Its personal choice in the rim, but the base of all three are similar.

err. the GT2 is a very much upgraded turbo s.. the GT2 is much better IMO.
The new CSR elite pedals are great to and if your planning on playing console only then I don't see the need to go for clubsports.
God I love the CSR it feels solid.. sadly i cannot use it again till sunday :(

Im console only so csr elite pedals would be best then? The saving of 50 euros is hugely appealing.

From my experience yes...
what are the best pedals you have used.. if you haven't used Clubsports on a PC then these will seem like the best pedals on earth to you.
They are truly fantastic value

Why is that? What is the big difference?

Just smoother not really stronger but yiu notice the difference.. hard to explain till you try it.. the turbo s is good the GT2 is great

Well, the Turbo S had a slightly lighter wheel rim, so you could feel the vibrations better. It's not fair to compare unless you have tried both amf. You don't really know, you are speculating. Not something a reviewer should ever do................

And, some still truly like the TurboS better than the GT2................Coming from owners who have both wheels.

For all those in the States thinking on calling in sick or taking Monday off and waiting at the window for BIG BROWN ( ups) to show up at your door with your new wheel...The last time I check Monday is a National Hoilday for some......Columbus Day....not all mail delivery service is open for business

FYI.. i have at least tried every single wheel on my site.. so Please don't think i just speculate.

I thought about that, but not sure why UPS would have a Monday delivery date if it was a holiday for them.

I know the Banks and the Post Office are close...but the public schools are open in my area.......Amazon send out there same date release games on a Sunday, instead of on a Monday if its a Holiday...so that you receive it on Tuesday....Columbus Day , Nation day and MLK Day are the same kinda holiday ...where some business are open and some are close

You have a pair of elite pedals?
Does the load cell vibrate?
Compared to the CSP, how good?

As sonac answered

Brake on CSR Elite pedals actually does not have an ABS vibration motor.

Edit: and compared to clubsports the gap is close... if your a console player then you won't notice the difference.
45: mins for my video to process in HD then... I have to upload to youtube for the second time today lol

I had a Turbo S (PWTS) and then got a GT2. I had both at the same time for a couple of months bartering away the PWTS. They're both great wheels and are more similar than different. Motor strength and force feedback delivery are basically identical. The GT2 wheel rim is a bit heavier. This dampens some of the feedback, especially the vibration motors. The wheel rim is a bit more comfortable on the GT2. The paddle shifters are a bit nicer on the GT2. The buttons on the GT2 are more responsive. I also prefer the Alcantara wrap of the GT2 to leather.

The CSR wheel rim looks like a bit of a step back in premium materials compared to the PWTS and GT2, but it looks like it brings enough improvements in responsiveness, grip ergonomics, and the paddle shifters to be a worthy successor.

I just recieve my CSR Shifter Set this afternoon.....It still show PENDING on my account... and I didn't receive a tracking number also....I order the 1st day for it was open for pre-order......live in the Bay Area

PS......is there any kind of lubrication you can use on installing the rods and shifter....my wheel & shifter are still a cherry.....I did loose the (2) set-screw...but still tight

1st thing I notice was the Glossy Black Finish and the location of the plug under the shifter...plus there no hard mount threads

haha. I'm in the Bay as well. I recieved my pedals(CSR-E) about 20 minutes ago. They look pretty slick. Still debating on the wheel though :(

lol. Cedar and Newark blvd for me. VERY possible with the same UPS guy. lol

Today I got an odd surprise. My RennSport Wheel Stand arrived, despite never getting an e-mail with the tracking number.

I'm guessing the same thing is gonna happen with my CSR wheel and CSR Elite pedals. On Wednesday, I recieved an e-mail saying that they'll be shipped soon. And it's my understanding that they typically ship it within 1-2 days of that. So theoretically, they should've shipped yesterday or today.

Yet it's just like the case with the wheel stand... no e-mail containing tracking numbers.

It's not that big of a concern. I'm confident that my order has been shipped, and that it'll arrive on time. But it is pretty disconcerting that Fanatec can so easily just completely forget to send me my tracking numbers.
