The SRT video review is likely to be not that far off. :)

For future personal reviews Im planning to run with a 1:1 realtime comparison. I think its hard sometimes playing on one setup then to switch to annother to fully witness/detect how each wheel performs in the same situations.

My own plan is to easily and accurately be confident in reporting what those are and use 2-3 other friends to act as test dummies and further opinions.

The test setup will allow me to use X360 and PS3 with (FM4 & GT5) for upto 3way wheel 1:1 comparisons.

I watched an unboxing of the CSR wheel yesterday and thought it was yours haha, guess it wasnt you having the dodgy microphone?
 
Nope... I can upload it.in 240 but not 720 for some reason grr.
Got the same message as last time for some reason.
Anyway some video will be online in 15 mins not sure about the quality though ai don't flame me if its 240 as I am uploading straight off the video.editing software rather than uploading it as a stand alone movie

Really looking forward to the day mine arrives, I have ordered exactly the same set up as you 👍

I am not banking on mine being here in less than 2 weeks, as it has to go to the UK first then shipped to me in the Channel Islands. So other European customers count yourselves lucky that you will have yours sometime next week. Already cost me £434 just to reach the UK, hope the expense of shipping from the UK to here isn't going to be to harsh on me :scared:

Anyone want to trade places with me? :sly:

EDIT: What is the biggest reason you guys are getting the CSR shifter? I think the paddles are easier/quicker but maybe I am missing something I didn't use the crappy shifter on my DFGT.

How about a nice vid of it in action while you have it, FM4 or GT5 i'm not fussed I have both.

I have never owned a Fanatec product so can somebody tell me if I need to download the driver for it, or is the driver just for use with PC sims?

Sorry if this is a dumb question, still a virgin when it comes to Fanatec products :lol:

Guys, I need an advice before I go spending $300. I asked on the thread below but am hoping to get more opinions in this one.

I want to get a wheel for FM4 which is compat with Ps3 as well as xbox. I was looking at either the Gt2 or CSR from Fanatec and am leaning toward tchhe Fanatec. I'm going to use my G25 pedals and Standard Porsche shifter set. Now the problem is that I dont know if the GT2 wheel (with the pedals and shifters listed earlier) is compatible in FM4 (as in will the Clutch and H shifter work specifically), or will I be forced into to getting the CSR for the clutch and H shifter? I cant afford the clubsport pedals yet so Im using my G25's since they work fine. Will those work? I'd appreciate a reply because I need to order asap.Thanks!

The DFGT shifter was bad, so were the paddle shifter (buttons) imo. The reason I might grab a shifter set (not CSR just reg) is because I always seem to lose count on a seq. shifter lol. Making a turn and going in reverse, OR accel. and realizing I am in 4th instead of 2nd.

Those would be my reasons as least :)

Yeah, the pedals will work just fine with all of that (GT2 or CSR wheel). It even comes with the adapter to use the G25/27 pedals with Fanatec wheels. I almost went that route to be honest, so I read up on it quite a bit.
 
yes the gt2 will work with forza as will your pedals... you need to buy the g27/5 connector from fanatec though

Thats odd, my wheel came with the connector. Also it says on the site it comes with:

Force Feedback racing wheel with belt drive
ClubSport shifter paddles aluminum
Adapter cable to connect Logitech G25 /G27 pedals
Quick guide
Power supply

The only one you need to buy it the Microsoft Pedal adapter.

Can you please make a short vid of the csr shifters if you have time for it? I'm also interested about the pedals. (the quality, the materials, how it sounds, etc.)
