Haha, Thanks so much for the input! Sorry for the persistent question over question lol

EDIT: G25 pedals or standard porsche pedals?

I think you should dig out the gt2 and compare it to that. Comparing it to a dfgt is not really a fair review, especially since you have a gt2 sitting around.
The question has been asked many times how the csr and gt2 stack up together. And you have the means to do the comparison.

Film exactly the same video with each wheel and when you edit do a side by side.

The wheel dosen't work as i have stated previously LOL :)..
I can take a picture of the rims when i dig it out thats it..
SORRY :(

Edit: you can swap with me if you wish..
And the reason it isn't working is i dropped and smashed the back in on concrete.. or rather a "friend" did LOL
So i sold him my clusports and bought a DFGT which was a weird drop down in terms of pedals as well as rim feel

I can't wait until the CSR Elite comes out. I think that'll be my wheel! Speaking of which, those of you who have upgraded to a different wheel, how many months did you have the one wheel before you decided you wanted another one.

a week lol upgraded before gamescom..

And about wheel sizes.. Race cars have smaller wheels to increase turning speed. This wheel is meant to be a mix between race and GT. The CSR dosen't feel small it just feels right neither big or small.

In preparation for either the CSR Elite Wheel or ClubSport Wheel, (hopefully in December), does anyone know the weight of these wheels. (Please Fanatec)
Being all metal construction I expect them to be much heavier than the porche wheels, PWTS/GT2/CSR.
Whats the best guess out there ?
Twice as heavy ? :scared:
3 times even :nervous:
Just need to establish if my current rig can withstand the heft of it or if some structural strengthening is required as it is made from wood not metal.

The wheel itself isn't heavy at all.. the pedals are if thats what you mean?

The ClubSport Wheel and Elite Wheel, they aren't on sale yet,
How heavy will these be I wonder.
I guess the CSR wheel in your video is roughly the same weight, maybe a tad lighter, as the GT2 and PWTS because they have the same base.

I'd say its lighter

They are the same size lol??

http://www.fanatec.de/html/pw_overview.htm for proof... all are 30cm

And i know its 900 degrees but it is rare for anyone to go any where near 900 degrees

But you said previously (and we can verify it on your VID http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cwnY7c2FR5s&feature=player_embedded) that CSR have same rim size than Driving Force GT. But if I'm not wrong, Driving Force GT is much less than 30cm. It's why we need a picture of your CRS near your GT2 wheel.

For second point (about plastic on the rim): ok but only for open wheels racing games :)

The DFGT has a 30cm rim LOL why can't you believe me. It some point this week i will find the wheel (providing a relative hasen't thrown a smashed up wheel in the skip :() I think it is possible that it maybe in the skip as i asked her about it and she changed the subjet :sly:.. I can say that the wheel rim is the same size as the GT2 and the facts back this up.

EDIT: After pressing her about it... SADLY my smashed up wheel is gone LOL :(

Ok sorry.. But on your eyes it looks exactly the same TBH..
and all fanatecs have 30cm rim size not just GT2..
all of them (not including interchanging rims e.g. CSW)
The size is perfect..
anyway people any more video requests..
I'll reply tomorrow bed now :)

comment changed since quoted

Like I said a friend dropped it.. it was in the loft for a long time so my.GF throws it without telling me.. Quite simple and an innocent mistake on my part.

I certainly was not trying to mislead anyone although I see why you thought that and I wouls certainly think the same LOL

Simple post up some photos of when you had it or a link to a forum were I'm sure you commented when you ordered it or got it m8.I too find the story a little odd tbh and for someone that has a website covering reviews then your bound to have photos yeah? You got rid of CSP to then buy a DF-GT?

Weird thing is your own website seems to have reviews of gathered information posted on the wheels. Yet your site gives the impression these are your comments and reviews. This isn't a personal attack but if indeed this is the case then to an extent your own review site/blog is already kind of misleading.

"I will also do hands on with all of the latest wheels and post these in my blog."

Latest from the time I wrote that would.mean this wheel??

Anyway I will.start from the top seen as my every move is geting scrutinized when I am only trying to be helpful...
I got the wheel a few weeks later the power supply went so I bought a new one in ebay.

I then had the wheel and loved it for a few months before it got broke.

I put it in the loft hoping to fix it one day.

I sold the clubsports as money was tight so I could buy a dfgt..
Happy now back.on topic??

And all future reviews will be done by myself :)

Clearly you need your sleep and that's a fact :sly:

Like I said it's easy for you to prove it, you have a GT2 review on your site, no photos though.
Just a little odd is all, saying as you goto all the bother now to do unboxing videos. I won't press you any further on it.

Ok.thanks Mr.latter for the grilling LOL.. and your right I need sleep.

Will be home to do videos tommorow..

Did you all.know I edited that video on my little phone :sly:

The reason for no unboxings.for.my.dfgt or gt2 is that its a bit late and the gt2 didn't work :)

Sorry if I seem like being a killjoy. You say you don't want to mislead anyone and your own site clearly doesn't indicate reviews already on your site are not necessarily your own. Personally I don't like that and think it's not the best way for you to build your own credibility. Like I've offered you can easily prove your GT2 purchase and make a fool of my weird notions.

Maybe I'm the only one so ignore my late night ramblings....

I appreciate constructive feedback.. and I sourceed.the reviews which are not mine. The future wheel reviews will be mine :)

The credibility machine kicks in now with my own reviews..
Anyway let's move on and look at my review before we mention the site itself.again.. videos are seperate of course :)

Sorry man, missed the post about your gt 2 getting smashed.
It was a porly worded video request, not an attack at ya.

How ya set for socks 'n underwear ?

Sorry but do you mean did I have... They were clubsports.

And no I won't be buying all that was a moment of excitement LOL.. their is no way I could afford all of that.

Can we stop the analysis....
