I have been viewing this thread for some time now and i have to say some of the treatment on amf7 is extremely unfair...
their are 3 guys in particular that really annoy me. I am not going to name and shame them in public as that is basically what thoughs guys do to AMF constantly.

He seems like an invaluable member IMO and his review was very thorough.. Yes their was some spelling mistakes but some of you guys in the last few weeks seem to be making a mountain over a mole hill.

He answered a guys question on the shifter and the guy said something like "someone other than amf please". That for me has got to have been one of the most rude things i have read on the net and you would only see that kind of behaviour on the net.
If i was AMF personally I would stop posting and trying to be helpful and just stick to your site as its pretty clear some of you guys don't appreciate anything he does.

It from the outside looks like jealousy and gives GTP a bad name.

His review is certainly the most thorough written review on the net and would have taken a fair bit of time to write it. I somewhat doubt that many people on here could do a better job.

The site may not look so proffesional but imo the reviews are some of the best on the net. Maybe if he added Ads would you guys think it was more proffesional as i assume he could quite easily do that.

Please stop trolling you guys and give him some credit on the detail of his reviews. For example IGN mentioned this wheel for a sentence in their FM4 review. I felt this was an insult to fanatec.

I wouldn't usually post but i am sick of the amount of abuse that this guy is getting.

Fanatec clearly value him and gave him the chance to review the wheel.

Also I remember one guy saying that he would rather AMF discuss rather than post links. well if you treat him like this it is much easier for him to post links.

AMF keep up the good work great reviews..
sorry for going off topic to the guys who actually choose to use this thread properly rather than critisise t everything that AMF does. He has said PM him so in future please do tha rather than give GTP a bad name.

The reason I didn't post before was fear of getting flamed but I am sick to death of trolls.

KEV

PS.. for those who don't know why people are complaining its because some AMF got the opportuninty to review this wheel. Worth a read. : http://wheelreviews.yolasite.com/fanatec/fanatec-csr-review-

and you guys who keep flaming him check out the comments.

Agreed 100% Some on here that are so critical of him just seem to be a bit upset that someone besides them got a dev kit. Amf your reviews are fine just ignore the few haters and keep up the good work. 👍

hi all i need a wheel for F4. i have thrustmaster 500 for gt5. so i guess my real question is the csr the same as the porsch gt2 or is it better. im using the WSP so i cant mount a shifter.and hoping csr puts the feeling there i really dont want to spend another 700$ on a wheel.so i would like to know how it feels when driving also if the shifter peice that connects is firm or flimsy ty. ps dont mind the spelling

i posted this ona diff thread but no awnser

I can only tell you about the GT2 as thats the one i have. I bought a rennsport wheelstand while i allready had the wheelstandPro. The GT2 is to heavy for the WSP, making it tip over if you dont have the stand in 90°. The CSP dont fit the base of the WSP.

The rennsport wheelstand however is very heavy and less configurable, but is rock solid though...

That sais; i wish i still had the DFGT with the WSP; its a very nice combination if your not interested in Xbox

I'm not sure I like where the thread is going. Discussing/analyzing the reviewer(s) quality is a debate not fit for this thread.

Kev blackwell I find it fishy you only have 1 post and you make the exact same spelling and grammar mistakes amf7 does. Just saying, it seems very fishy indeed :odd:

But if your post is real, well welcome aboard....

I'm not going to jump to any conclusions but the funniest part of the Kev blackwell post is the fact that he posted a link to the site :)

The IP Address from Kev Blackwell is different than amf7's. WTTB Kev.

the WSP holds my t500 rs without tipping over i guess i would have to see the clamp. but also how is the shifter with that connection from the wheel is it almost solid or can it break easy. ty for response

Most of the nowadays forums do track, however only the moderators and admins can see them (I have a website of my own and I have a forum there :) ). It is easy to change your IP however but that is not the point.

Your review is YOUR review and it is mostly your opinion about this wheel, it might be right, it might be wrong, at least you did some job and you got the wheel from Thomas. You can never get everyone to like you but I like that you do not go aggressive when people say not the very pleasant things to you.

I can suggest you to be patient and most important of all you need to work hard to get somewhere as the competition is very tough and there will always be lots of critics of your work.

Thank you for being here and giving more info to us.

Cheers.

I thought this was done and dusted.....

For the record, anyone that has a problem with my posts on the matter are welcome to PM. Im not here for a popularity contest or to promote my website. Im here because I enjoy the community and common interest of many people here. We will have times we do not agree.

Using other peoples comments/opinions as reviews with no credit to them and no notice they are not his is not a very honest thing to do. Also having a not too believable story about his "GT2" accident. Side tracking the issue by not producing proof of his purchase is also very questionable to me at least. He could clearly of made a fool of me or any doubters but as it stands with no proof I assume he has like his website made some things up.

You earn reputation and for me the above are not the best ways to go about doing that so please anyone that thinks some of us are being harsh then fine have your opinion. I have those reasons for mine.

AMF has been good enough to put up videos that some of you guys have requested (me included) He has spent a lot of time answering you're questions also.

Give the guy a break, and as Jerome has suggested get back on topic 🤬

Yeah, always go for the underdog!

Haven't read your review yet, since i've been avidly reading all the kind words the one percenters were sending your way...

Way to go, girls! Bad to the bone! And I thought french guys were cocky...

Back to topic: haven't got my CSR, and CSR E pedals, and CSR shifters, and rennsport wheelstand - BUT! It doesn't matter since FM4 won't be available to french customers before the 14th - Life's hard sometimes...
And I bought the CSR E Pedals knowing well the CSP were a customer's best choice, but I truly can't explain my choice. Novelty? Money being no good reason at all... And since I haven't ever played the CSP's, I guess the CSR E will be the best pedals in the whole world to me!

Anyway, I hope to get it and try to win some races onFM3 and get accustomed to it, or play the demo (controller sucks a plenty!).

On another subject: what PC game is the ultimate treat ATM? Iracing?

And lastly: Would it be a shame, sometimes, to remember that we're grown ups talking about overpriced gears linked to videogames? How lucky (or stupid) do we think we are?

Amf7: gonna read your review, now =)

Do how many people are going to be getting the wheel or pedals or shifted set tommorow??

And thanks for the support guys :)

Ohh and more videos are on the way.. just need to get used to changing gears whilst driving at full speed.

Going by pictures people have posted and videos, it looks to be the same size as a DFGT which was 11 inches I think. Somebody correct me if i'm wrong 👍

Latte, you are a very intelligent and kind person, I think you shouldn't argue with AMF about his review. Even if the review is not the way it should be it still a review, he is trying and he is not insulting anyone. Actually it would be great if people were all trying to do something on their own, he is and we should give him some respect. From what I've seen here he is a nice and very helpful guy, very much like yourself. And as Clarkson said - we are endangered species and we should protect each other and finally have the CSR Elite released :)

I like the clarkson quote :)

And I'm sure your right Plato.. maybe 11.5 is what I remember someone saying the other day.

I have the DFGT but the CSR is going to be a new experience for me, never used a wheel with a clutch pedal before, and the pedals alone will be a big step up for me as I have only used cheap plastic pedals.

Getting the CSR Elite Pedals by the way, with the CSR wheel, and the CSR shifter set. I can't wait :)

It's definitely a nice setup... Now I just need a proper rig.

I'm stuck with the WSP which may need to be modded after comments I was reading about the wheel being to heavy for it. Another concern is the pedals and if they are going to be a problem to mount on the WSP. I have looked around for some videos of people using the GT2 wheel with it seeing as though they have the same base, but no joy finding any. Just hope there aren't to many problems or it means more money for a Fanatec stand which I don't feel like spending, especially after spending £440 on this set up already :nervous:

Just read your review, Adam, and found many things that i'd not read anywhere else - something you can be proud of since i've been roaming the internet these last few weeks about anything related to Fanatec!

The fact that you consider the CSR E pedals on par with the CSP (from an Average Joe's point of view, that is!) is worth millions to me - I was beginning to doubt my choice.

Rejoice, mates - Gentlemen, start your engines! (off to the Sega website...)

I think I have seen a picture with you the Csr e on q wheel stand pro...Thomas could possibly clear this up
Glad you enjoyed it deceit70
