I think I have seen a picture with you the Csr e on q wheel stand pro...Thomas could possibly clear this up
Glad you enjoyed it deceit70

Wouldn't mind seeing one myself to put myself at ease. The WSP version I have is for the DFGT, not the G25/27 stand. But the option I went for was the dual wheelstand which came with an extra attachment for the MS wheel.

I am sure the bottom of the stand where you place your pedals is wider on the G25/27 stand, this is what worries me with the stand I have as obviously the CSR Elites come with a clutch which means they are a lot wider :nervous:

just looking for the pic..

surely if the CSP's fit then this won't be a problem as they are the same size as elites?

Plato check my avatar. That's a GT2/CSP on a WSP.

A modded DFGT WSP actually.

Thanks Spagetti:tup:

What mods did you have to make to mount the wheel and pedals?

Thanks for the pic AMF, i'm hoping that the elites will mount the same way as the plastic DFGT pedals do. It will save me a lot of time and keep my land lady off my case :sly:

Two holes will line up to the footprint of the base for the wheel. I added two more holes. 6mm bolts if I remember correctly.
Not too long mind, the holes are open and not blind. May foul something inside.
15/20 mm length should be ok.
Plate is around 2/3mm thick.

The wheel isn't too top heavy. Especially with CSP mounted as they are rather heavy.

The CSP come with mounting four mounting holes.

The mounting holes fit astride the WSP base rods.

I fitted two bars underneath, going across the base rods, thus clamping with a nut and bolt.

Your getting the CSR pedals right?

CSR Elite Pedals:tup:

The base of the pedals looks easy enough just to use the two rods that came with the wheelstand to hold down the DFGT pedals, but the extra width is the main concern

I would imagine there the same mounting system.

Roughly 400 mm long bars x2. Around 2/3 mm thick. Maybe 40mm wide.

I found some bars in B&Q but they were expensive. Walking around the builders yard in the same store I came across an L shaped bracket around 3 ft long, with holes all along the length. Rather like meccanno.

I bought one of those and cut the lenghs. Holes matched up great.

Builders or brickies might know the term for them.

Meccano sounds a good description

I am unsure why you thought I would go to the trouble of making another account.. anyway jump ace clarified.

I'd love to know how you can tell Jerome?? Do all sites track ips

It just seemed really odd because I was going to point in your review you often say "Their" instead of "there" (or was it 'They're' I forget I saw the mistake in a few places). Plus a lot of times you say "i" instead of taking the time to type "I". Not big deal, I just thought maybe you should clean it up when you get a chance

But then I saw that guy post and make the exact same grammar errors, etc. Guess most people type like that when they're in a hurry

edit- I am guessing you didn't tryout inverting that CSR Elite pedal. Don't recall reading bout that in the review. Just find it odd no one mentions that. I use my t500rs pedals inverted btw (GT mode rather than F1 style)

I'm stuck with the WSP which may need to be modded after comments I was reading about the wheel being to heavy for it. Another concern is the pedals and if they are going to be a problem to mount on the WSP. I have looked around for some videos of people using the GT2 wheel with it seeing as though they have the same base, but no joy finding any. Just hope there aren't to many problems or it means more money for a Fanatec stand which I don't feel like spending, especially after spending £440 on this set up already :nervous:

t500rs WSP is heavier to support the wheel base. But I would run into same issue as you if I go with the CSP. Would need to order the additional piece that allows CSP to be mounted. WSP-us told me they have it

I think you need an Inversion kit to do that sandboxgod.

Oh and the reason I would do an i instead of an I would be because I often use a phone rather than a laptop.

Found and corrected 2... It will take a few mins for the site to now update.

So Fanatec didn't send you the inversion kit as well then? Btw, that makes sense about the cell phone 👍

Nope they didn't.

I actually like the pedals as they are. I may however alter the angle of the pedals just to try it but other than that I am happy and wouldn't really need a kit.

Amf, check out my post in the setup and mancave thread for pics of how i angled my pedals. That is if i am not an your ignore list ;)

But for review purposes it would've been cool and possibly an Exclusive

I'm so dissapointed..
Last Friday my order status on Fanatec's webshop changed to "Delivered".
Now I get an email from UPS, that they will start the shipment today:( What happened for 3 workdays? I bet my shifter set won't get here till I get FM4:(

Is there anybody who have already get an email earlier from UPS in EU? Or I'm the only one who has this much luck?:)

Don't know when the CSR E wheel is gonna be released, but I know now when UPS is gonna ring at my door.

Just got my tracking number - delivery date is the 13th, and even if the official european release date of FM4 is the 14th, it should be made available tomorrow - good times ahead...

And since I live on the top north of France, not so far away from Germany, maybe I'll get a nice surprise tomorrow?

AMF, do you have any idea whether the Elite wheel and the CS Shifter will be released by the end of this year?

I don't have any word from fanatec and in my emails to Darin he has been pretty tight lipped. I think we may see the wheel by the end of the year but no idea on shifter

I believe all wheels are shipped from China so it doesn't matter whether you live close to Germany :) I do, however, hope that you will get your wheel on time so you can play Foritza (just kidding) 4 :)

The problem is that I've sold my G27 and now I have no wheel to play either GT5 or Forza 4. And I don't want to order CSR wheel as I'm pretty confident it is no better that the Porsche wheel. Therefore I have to wait for the Elite to be released, until then no playing :(

The goods have been already shipped from China some time ago - they were delivered to the USA (hence the early delivery) and to a german harbour (Hamburg seems a reasonable guess!)...

Keep cool =)
