Has this thread just become an outpouring for amf's cut-and-paste reviews?
My own thread got closed as I put a link to my site so I hot told it was advertising.

Ive tried suggest you do your own thread for your CSR, dont treat people like pawns to visit you site and improve your numbers. Just a simple thread about the "products" within it you could of had your comments, photos and a discussion that was for that. Then return with an updated report after further playtesting.
I know Ive been a pain recently and my own grumpy attitude on here hasnt been the nicest (apologies as other things on my plate). I have nothing against someone wanting to do their own website and own reviews. I have nothing personal against you other than what seems to be a bit of story telling regards the GT2, which you havnt had the nerve to admit to or prove otherwise. Therefore you havnt yet gained my own friendship or trust in the forums yet.
Why my attitude, I detest people that lie or try to achieve something in an underhand way and really to an extent I believe you got the CSR wheel for review based on having a website thats getting decent traffic.
However the website is based on what seems a degree of deception on your part.
Can I please give an example. "Sonac" does not go around pimping his website every other minute and it certainly is a credit to him what he has achieved with it. If anyone on these forums should of had a CSR for review early he'd be the man I would of suggested no offence to yourself or others.
I agree about Sonac getting the review kit.. I like his site a lot.
I still.don't see why you can't believe me about my gt2 but I am not going to argue as it is a waste of my time and yours.
1. Clubsport wheel? Noticed in a video that Thomas said Nov-Dec, any "newer" and more exact release dates?
A new high end pedal release date would be a good marketing from Fanatec, I think it will be in the Q1 or Q2 of 2012 after they had released the CSW. It is only my opinion, but if we think in business models, it is not so hard to imagine this.
I do hope we get a reply tomorrow or very soon as this is great news, thanks Fanatec

They ordered to many so their giving them away for a short while
Lucky guy.. I'm trying to get an answer for a simple question for two weeks now from Fanatec support, and nothing happens. I have a bad karma lolWow
Sent Fanatec an email just before midnight last night, received email less than 12 hours later, FREE upgrade kit on its way, that's what I call customer service.
Thanks Fanatec.
Ok, but the Elites have the reverted pedals which is a big plus, especially the way they have done it with the gaspedal still on the floor.
Well, in light of this show-stopping Forza 4 bug I have a little more free time tonight, so I thought I'd share my impressions of Fanatec's CSR 6+1 and sequential shifters.
The biggest change is in the build of the shift lever and knob, which are now cast aluminum. The lever and the bottom half of the knob are one casting, and that's bolted through the plastic shifter mechanism. The top half of the knob has a tongue the slides into the bottom half, lining everything up. Then they're held together with a tiny set screw. It's simple, but it works. Unfortunately, the rest of the design appears to be the same as the original Porsche shifters, but with a gloss black finish in place a rubber coating. I just hope the heavy aluminum levers don't over stress the underlying plastic. My old shifters are still going strong, and I hope these last too.
Out of the box, the shift action of the 6+1 feels disappointingly like the old plastic shifters. Other than the tactile improvement of metal against my hand, I couldn't tell a difference. But, and it's a big but, it feels substantially better once mounted to something sturdy. If you have a cockpit or stand with a hardpoint for Fanatec shifters, you'll notice a more deliberate and fluid feel. Once you get the knob moving, the extra weight helps carry it through until you've engaged a gear. It's enough of a difference that it hides a lot of the toylike feeling that plagues the old shifters. The aluminum also muffles a bit of the noise, although these shifters are still loud.
Overall, I think these CSR shifters are pretty nice for the price. I can't say they were worth $60 to replace my still-functioning Porsche shifters. But if you don't have any shifters for your Fanatec wheel, I think it's worth the difference in cost to go with the CSRs.
How is the button mapping with GT5 and the CSR? What buttons work and for what? Thanks!
I feel the SAME way basically. But, I would recommend them to upgrade from the original shifters. I think the added feature with aluminum is nice. Yes, the base is plastic, but thick, and I have mine in a sturdy position.
If you can afford to spend a little more, then get these even if you have the original shifters. You will not regret getting something that is weighted metal in your hands. It is a nice upgrade, imho. I give them a solid 7-7.5 out of 10 if you put SST as a 10. This will obviously change come CS time, but, for now, a nice option.
ClubSport pedals are still the best.
And they're very easy to invert too.
You just have to:
1: Simply replace the throttle and clutch sockets on the motherboard
2: Replace the throttle and clutch springs
3: Mount them
